Few days after school starts to work normally after the sudden death, while walking, Sylvia saw Ryan and Mark walking to their class and the first thing she does is jumping up and catch something. She shows a paper and gave it to Mark. "Read it." Taking the paper, he started to read it, and he wide his eyes in shock. "Time limit again?!" Ryan raises his brow and looks at the paper. "70 percent- CAN SOMEONE DO MATH?!" Mark rubbed his temple but Sylvia pick the paper and starts counting. "255 days." "Why not just 365-" Cutting Ryan's words, they saw Leon smiling while walking with Thalia and Amy. "I'm hurt that it takes me days to befriend him yet that girl takes minutes only." Hearing those words, Leon glance at Sylvia and glares at her. "And surprisingly he heard you," Mark said which makes Leon clears his throat and gave a quick goodbye to the two girls before making his way towards those three. "Hello~ My lovely 'friends'." They gave him an awkward wave and Leon look at the paper Sylvia is holding. "Seventy percent from what exactly? You can't change the percent unless-" "365." "How did you know? It only says seventy percent. It could be seventy percent from hours, minutes, or seconds. Or perhaps weeks. This is why teachers aren't doing a good job at writing test questions." Keeping the paper in Ryan's bag, Sylvia pulls Leon to their class meanwhile a teacher pulls Mark away. "You will start your day in class B starting from today." Looking back at Ryan, Mark saw a betrayal face from Ryan and sob before getting pulled away by the teacher. Taking their seat, Sylvia saw the notice on the board by the teacher. "No teacher for today?" "Teacher getting another baby is not good news." Standing up, Leon makes his way out and leaves the class. Sylvia sighs at her friend and moves herself to sits in Leon's seat. She looks through Leon's notes and wide her eyes. While in detention again, Mark saw Ryan enter the room and chuckle. "I knew this work." Ryan rolled his eyes and sat down next to Mark. "Calling me in class so that I get caught and be in detention with you? You really act like real Mark now." Ryan pointed out which Mark quickly realize and he avoids looking at Ryan. "The teacher is not here so... Wanna continue our conversation and tell me who are you?" Sweats appear on Mark's forehead as he starts feeling anxious. Reaching the library, Leon pick a book and saw Thalia pulling books. Next to her, Amy who is lifting more books than Thalia. He went towards them and helps Thalia pick a book. "Oh thanks- Leon!" He gave her a smile while Amy tried to greet him. "What are you two doing?" "W-we're-" "We're getting books for the teacher. Don't mind us!" Pleased with the answer, he leaves them alone and brings the books he found. He stops at a window and looks outside. The cloud turns gray and rain starts dropping. "Wonder what happens outside..." With the heavy book, he walks back to his class and saw Sylvia sleeping in his seat. He takes her seat and starts reading. 'Someone would be dead in this kind of weather.' Silence fills the detention room but Ryan moves near Mark and holds his collar. "Talk or you can die now." "W-what?! You can't do that! I'm not a target!" "You could be one." Hesitating to answer, Mark looks away and ignores the male. Ryan had enough with Mark who is not responding. He let go and sat back down on his chair angrily. Fixing his tie, he looks at the sad Ryan. "You wouldn't understand...I just get to know him. I was so closed to be his best friend. How did you take his body!" A sigh escapes Mark's mouth as he faced Ryan. "Ryan. Remember a student that gets beaten and you saw it? What did you do? You called him pathetic instead of helping him. I am that guy." As Ryan's eyes went wide, Mark continues his story. "You left me there. Sylvia comes to me and...ask me if I wanna have a better life...and gave me the paper..." The wide eyes turn to glare. Before Ryan could utter any words, Mark says something that makes him heartbroken. "I got popular students as a target. The dead body we saw the other day...was my old body." "OUT OF ALL PEOPLE-" "What is this noise?!" They move their eyes to look at the teacher. "You two haven't started with your essay right? Start now and no talking." With a sour face, Ryan starts doing his essay while Mark stares at his paper. The days end and they went to their class to get their bag. They saw Sylvia and were about to greet her but she gave a sign to slow their voice. "What happens?" "Guys..." Listening to the girls talking, Leon knew a lot of things they like and dislike. He keeps listening until he reaches his own house. He enters the house and throws himself on the couch. "I'm home." His eyes stare at the main bedroom but he decides to close his eyes and went straight to sleep. Meanwhile, the three friends went to Ryan's house and sat down in silence. "What now?" Sylvia reach for her bag and pulled out a book. She gave it to Ryan and he starts flipping through every page. "I can't understand anything- Wait, does this book belongs to Leon?" He stares at the girl who's slowly nodding. Ryan reads it and sighs. "No use. I can't read it." Sylvia pulled Ryan and make him stand in front of a mirror. Mark gasp and points at the mirror. "He WROTE BACKWARDS?! HOW GENIUS IS HE?!" Ryan starts reading it one by one. "Leon Loraine a high school boy and lived alone. His parents currently unknown characters. He's a serial killer in the game World 365 and he often murders his victim with the method drive victim to suicide. He's a perfect A student and always completes his challenges in order to find his creator. The first player. Unknown to him, the first player is someone close to him." "He kills people too-!" "...no wait." Sylvia pulls the book and writes down important stuff. "He said the game World 365. Now we know we're playing a game. And his creator..." Mark wide his eyes and shouted. "He's not a real human being?!" Nodding her head, Sylvia shows her phone to them. There's a definition of words. "I called him NPC. His role with us is to lead us to his creator! You know, he's looking for his creator right?! He's the hint we have!" Mark thinks for a while and looks at Sylvia. "Are you sure Leon isn't setting this up? This is his book right?" "Yeah...is this really not a setup?" Sylvia gave them a smile and tie her hair. "Want to go attack the NPC?" "Achoo-!" Leon woke up and check his hand and saw a paper. "Best friend...In 24 hours. I did say someone will die when it's raining."
