It would've been fun to see just how far she'd go, but I'm a bit skeeved out by the fact that she had no idea what she was doing. I extricated myself from her hold and got her settled back against the pillow. “Go back to sleep, baby. Here's your lamb." She grabbed her pet and settled down again, out cold but still holding my hand. I laid next to her long enough to make sure she would stay in bed, and it wasn't long before a new fear crept up on me unannounced. What if she'd walked towards the stairs? Would I have heard her even with the door open? Would she even have known there were stairs there? I guess I have to look up the dangers of sleepwalking now in order to keep her safe.
