Genevieve's POV
He stared at me like he could not believe what he was hearing. I had to ask, he had never called me by my name before. Hearing him say it now was indescribable. The way my name rolled off his tongue. Why do I like it so much?
"Seriously? Was that all you could grasp from everything I said?" he asked after a while of staring at me. I nodded.
"I just said I like you. Didn't you hear me?" he inquired skeptically.
"I heard you," I replied curtly. How could I not have heard? My heart skipped a bit when I heard him say it.
"And?" he asked.
"And nothing. Who knows how many girls you've said that to? You don't expect me to believe you if you just say it right? Knowing your reputation..," I stopped speaking when I saw him walking closer to me with an expression I couldn't quit
