“Your highness, is everything… alright?”
“Do I look okay to you?!”

“That monster over there tried to kill me!”
“Hephit! Explain yourself!”
“I was trying to help her use her wings. If she cannot use them, she cannot use her magic.”
“Hephit, what did you do?”
“I only threw her down through the window.”
Hephit narrowly dodged the dagger aimed at his head by Sylin. Since he used his magic, it was insanely hard to avoid. Even Hephit barely avoided it , coming out with a cut on his cheek.
Meryl watched with growing satisfaction as Sylin berated Hephit for the next 30 minutes. The three were at lunch, accompanying her since she couldn’t eat alone. It was supposed to be only Sylin but Hephit, being Hephit, decided to join them. It backfired.
