Meryl landed in the office while the sun was going down. It had been a long day and the whole kingdom was still in shock. It wasn’t the right time to say anything about official business since she already deposed the dukes out of anger. Even if she said it wasn’t necessary they joined, for them to not choose to show up, it meant their loyalty was nothing but a sham.

“I was worried you’d killed yourself or something. You haven’t eaten anything all day. We’re having dinner now so join us”
