14 “Oh…no. Please tell me you can turn this back.” Austin stared at the stranger in the mirror. His cheeks sagged into multiple folds. His eyebrows hung low—much lower and they would have blocked his vision. His eyes glowed purple like electrified plums. When they first mentioned it, Austin thought the alteration to his eyes would be a dull color. The eyes they had given him looked battery powered in the low light of Taliford One.
