Catherine
I had the weirdest dream about the stranger I saw before my accident. He was here in my home, staring at me and finally he touched me. His touch lit a fire in me and I wanted him so badly. We ended up making love and he was so gentle with me. I could still feel how aroused I was and the feeling was making me confused. I never dreamed about s*x, I never enjoyed having s*x and I definitely didn't want to have s*x with anyone yet here I was, feeling empty inside when I realized that he wasn't here for real. My breathing was still heavy when I lied on my bed. What was happening to me? I better get my mind fixed before it ruins my life.
I got up and had a cold shower to cool my body and soul. My skin was still sensitive but bruises were turning yellow and I knew they would get better soon. I made some tea before heading to the grocery store and pharmacy. The day was beautiful. A bit crispy but the sky was bright blue and the sun was shining. It felt good to breath clean air. First I went to the pharmacy and while I was waiting for my meds to be ready I felt like someone was watching me again. I looked around but there was absolutely no one staring at me. The feeling was the same I had last night while sitting on my balcony. It was an unsettling feeling, like I was naked and couldn't hide anywhere. I tried to shake it away and headed to do the grocery shopping. Eventually the feeling went away and I could breathe freely again.
After getting everything I needed I decided to buy a cup of tea from the café near my home. I sat on the table outside and enjoyed the relaxing feeling I was finally able to feel. The sun was warming my face and I closed my eyes while sipping my tea. Suddenly the most sensual voice I had ever heard asked "Is this seat taken?". My eyes flashed open and I couldn't stop staring after my eyes landed on the source of that voice. It was the same stranger who was there when my accident happened. He was the most beautiful man I had ever laid my eyes on. His hair was black like mine, long enough to be tied on a small bun at the back of his head. His eyes were piercing blue and they seemed to laugh at me while I was just staring at him. He chuckled a little and asked again "Miss, is this seat taken?". My mouth felt dry and I licked my lips before I could push only one word, no, out of my mouth. He smiled widely and sat down while offering his hand to me. "Hello Catherine. I wasn't able to introduce myself back in the hospital because you were unconscious. My name is Damien Black." I looked at his hand and decided not to shake hands with him even if it was considered rude. "Pleasure." I managed to reply. How did he know my name? He kept smiling and looked straight into my eyes. I didn't know where to look, men always made me feel uncomfortable and this time it felt even worse. My cheeks blushed after remembering the dream I had last night, I had just imagined having s*x with him and now he was sitting across the table with me. "Is everything alright, Catherine? You seem to feel uncomfortable." Damien asked and I took a sip from my tea to get a few more seconds before I had to speak again. "Everything is fine, better than fine, thank you. I'm just curious to know what happened? And how do you know my name?" I finally said and looked at him. "I'm lucky that I was walking down the same street as you were. I noticed that he attacked you, whoever that was, and I didn't know if he was going to rob you or do something worse. I just knew that I had to help you. He probably panicked after realizing that you weren't alone and hurt you so you wouldn't remember him." His expression turned sad while he answered me. I didn't know what to think except that I was thankful for his actions. Who knows what could have happened and I'm not sure if I'd survive again. While I was still in my thoughts Damien leaned over the table and touched my hand. He gently rubbed my knuckles and continued speaking. "I can see that you are overwhelmed about all of this. Tell me Catherine, do you remember what happened to you?" His touch made me confused and I didn't know if I should take my hand away from him or not. It felt scary and sweet at the same time. "Yes, I somehow remember what the attacker looked like. He never took anything from me, so it wasn't a robbery I guess." A shiver ran through me when I thought of the alternative of what could have happened. Damien kept rubbing my hand gently as if he knew what I was thinking. "You are safe now, Catherine. Nothing bad will never happen to you again, I promise." He smiled encouragingly while saying that. "How can you say that? You don't even know me and you certainly don't know the attacker and what he's thinking about!" My voice got higher while I said that and I felt anger rising in me as I tugged my hand away from him. Who was this stranger to say anything like that! No one, absolutely no one could make such a promise to me. Damien looked even sadder after my outburst and I instantly felt bad for him. He wasn't my enemy, he was just a man who had helped me. "Look, I'm sorry ---" was all I got out before Damien spoke again. "I'm sorry. You are right, I don't know you but I hope that it'll change in the near future. What comes to your name, I simply asked about it back in the hospital after they had identified you. You have a very beautiful name." I blushed again because of his words and my mouth was dry like a desert. He was so confusing! My feelings kept changing like I was on a roller coaster. Before I could get even one word out of my mouth he rose up and walked next to me. He looked into my eyes, took my hand in his and kissed it lightly. "Until we meet again, my sweet princess." He whispered gently and walked away. I stared at his back and all I could think was the feeling his hands and lips had left in me.
