Ellie and John climbed through the rough terrain of over growth, to get to the rocky base of the hill, where they saw Nelly's lifeless body lay.
Her legs were both broken and rested out in a weird way on the floor and her back was curved over a large rock. Her head was hanging down from the rock, covered in blood and a clear open skull fracture at the back of her head could be seen without moving her. Her arms lay outwards, also battered from the fall.
When Ellie got closer she could see that Nelly had also cut through her wrists before the fall. A sharp blade covered in blood lay near to her right hand. Her eyes were closed, Ellie was thankful that she didn't look like she had any regret in her decision on the way down.
"Nelly, sweet, sweet, Nelly" Ellie kneeled at the side of her head
