Nick came back excited, he wouldn’t stop talking about what he did with Quin and Ivy for the most times I was with him and it was kind of annoying. I didn’t have a reason to be jealous of Ivy and Quin but yet again I couldn’t stop the jealousy within me.
“It was the most amazing weekend mom,” Nick said as he completed another one of his stories.
I chuckled, “that’s great honey but now you’re back here and you need to get to bed early, you have school tomorrow.” I tickled him, he laughed as he ran away to his room.
I placed his plate in the sink as I picked my phone which had started ringing, “Hello,” I spoke up as I cleaned the table.
