Celeste’s POV
“D-did you come back from the future?” Austin asks me.
I’m completely and utterly speechless. My mind races through dozens of questions. Is this actually happening? Have I gone insane? How does he know? Did I accidentally tell him and I just forgot? Have I told anyone? How did this secret slip out? Did he just figure it out on his own? Is he seriously asking me this? How do I answer him? Should I be honest with him? Wait, did he come back as well?
“Celeste?” Austin says.
“Wh- I- Uh- H- How d-.”
My brain and my mouth are on two separate planes. Just form one coherent sentence Celeste! Austin is just looking at me confused.
“How can you ask me such an absurd question?” I finally manage to say. He looks like he’s studying my face.
“You didn’t answer the question.” He
