Enzo’s POV
The second horn sounds and the hunt begins. Will Barbary immediately shifts and runs off into the woods. Reed and my beta, Everett, shift next. Everett has dark brown fur with patches of black mixed in, but his black patches look greyed next to Reed’s midnight black coat. I wish Celeste was here to see me shift. Although I’m not sure how she would react. I wouldn’t want her to get scared.
“Whatcha waiting for Enzo?” Everett mind links me. I don’t answer him, I just shift and run off after him and Reed. It’s been awhile since I’ve been in my wolf form. It feels good to stretch my legs and see the world though my lupine eyes. I see Reed and Ev up ahead. I dart towards them and when I get close enough I jump overhead of them, causing them to stop in their tracks. The dirt flies
