I woke up with the sun shining right on my face. I groaned as I got out of bed and made my way to the bathroom. I brushed my teeth and took a shower. Today would be the first day at my new school and I was kind of looking forward to it. I slipped on some ripped jeans with a black turtle neck and paired it up with some black sneakers. I climbed down the stairs and didn't bother eating breakfast because it makes me all nauseous for some reason. I got out the house and made my way to my car which my parents shipped for me from California. It was a jet black jeep and I was quite happy with it. I knew the direction of the school so I took off. The day was not that sunny, it was actually pretty cloudy which I think is quite rare for a place like Australia. Nonetheless, I enjoyed the nice weather. I turned to the area of the town where the schools were located and spotted my own. It was a relatively big school. It had four buildings, two floors each. It was painted a nice white and green. I pulled up in the parking lot and I felt a million pairs of eyes on me as I made my way inside the school. I somehow found the guidance office and pushed the door open. Behind the counter sat a middle aged woman with classy looking glasses. I made my way to her and she turned to look at me and smiled. "Uhm hi. My name is Sierra Frost. New girl." I said awkwardly. I wasn't good with people. "Hello, you can call me Mrs. Boulder. Here is your schedule and the map around the school the schedule also contains your locker number right here." she answered politely. "Thank you." I smiled as I left the office. I made my way to my locker feeling slightly uncomfortable as I felt a lot of eyes trained on me. Yes I was a shy and awkward person but once you get to know me I'll be a completely different person. I always had a resting b***h face on too and if you're lucky, you'll get a hint of a smile. I knew why so many people were staring at me though, I joined the school halfway through first quarter so It was odd to have a new student so late in the year. I opened the locker and got my books out for math since it was my first period. I closed my locker shut only to be greeted my a very bubbly red head. "Hi! My name is Candice, I'm guessing you're the new girl here, what's your name?" She asked excitedly. I blinked a she stared expectantly at me, I did not expect someone to talk to me so soon. "Hi, my name is Sierra and I am indeed the new girl here." I replied casually. It would be nice to make some new friends and Candice had a friendly aura around her so why not make friends with her? "Sierra eh, that's a very fancy and elegant name. Also very pretty" she complimented. "Thanks" I replied. "Would you like to sit with me and my friends at lunch. You totally wouldn't be intruding". She asked hopefully. "Sure why not?" I answered. Well at least I had someone to sit at lunch with. "Great!" She cheered. "What's your first period?" She asked happily. "Math." I grumbled. "Oo I hate math too but we can survive together!" She tugged on my arm and ran down the hall to which I presumed was the math class. We entered the class just as the bell rang and we took our seats. I took a seat right next to Candice since she's was the only one I knew. She was quite the oddball I must say, I do not think anyone has made friends with someone this quick but I was quite relaxed with her presence, It was better than being alone. The class never seemed to end as the math teacher drooled on about some s**t that I didn't even pay attention to. I think she was teaching us about Calculus. Tell me, when are we ever going to use imaginary numbers in our life? Exactly. Never. After what seemed like, days the class ended and I was instantly dragged by Candice out of the room. "Ugh, finally." I grumbled. "That class never seems to end!" Candice grumbled. "Tell me about it." I said following her lead. "What do you have next?" She asked. I took up the folded up piece of paper from my pocket and looked at my schedule. It seemed like I had Health Sciences next. "You must be smart." Candice wondered aloud as I told her my next class. "Er, I guess?" My answer came out more like a question. I liked to think that I had an average intelligence. "I have study hall next, I can lead you to Health Sciences if you want?" Candice offered and I eagerly nodded my head. She led me up a flight of stairs and stopped when she reached the appropriate classroom. The school moved in a block schedule so I had lunch with Candice, she promised me that she would come and lead me to the cafeteria and we said our goodbyes. Health Sciences was uneventful, we just went through a packet with medical terminology, relatively easy stuff. The class did not stretch on long like math and before you knew it, the bell rang and Candice was right outside the door. We then entered a huge cafeteria. There were people literally everywhere and I felt overwhelmed. We made our way in the line and got our trays filled with food and then headed to Candice's friends. They all looked over at us and Candice sat down next to a brunette. I awkwardly sat down next to a blonde only because she smiled at me sweetly. "Hey I'm Emily" the brunette smiled at me. "This is Jade, Spencer, Eva, Jack, Grayson and Sam." she said pointed to the people sitting with us. "Hey, I'm Sierra." I said while smiling at them. "Hello Sierra, nice to meet you." Jade said. "You're the new girl right?" Grayson asked. I nodded in reply. I couldn't help but notice how pretty they looked. Jade had black and silky hair with green eyes. Spencer had dark brown hair with hazel eyes. Eva had blonde hair with blue eyes. Jack had light brown hair with hazel eyes. Grayson had blonde hair with green eyes and Sam had brown hair with green eyes. Emily had black hair with brown eyes. I also noticed how muscly the guys were and how slim the girls were. They didn't even have a trace of a pimple. They're faces were as smooth as cream too. Then there was me. Light brown hair and plain and dull grey eyes. My face was smooth too but not as smooth as theirs. I instantly envied their amazing genes. "Sierra, there is a party at my place tomorrow. You HAVE to come. It's like a 'yay school has started and let's share our misery together' party." Eva said excitedly. Everyone was so friendly here! I barely knew these people and they were already inviting me to parties and treating me like I had known them for ages, I knew that I had found a good group of friends. "Sure. But I don't have s**t to wear." I said. I didn't need my parents permission since they were in the other side of the world and it was true, I didn't have s**t to wear because I'm not much of a party girl. The only parties that I ever attended were boring office parties so I didn't really like them. "Don't worry your pretty little ass Sierra, I'm gonna kidnap you and make you look like a diamond." Candice chimed in. "Here have my address so you can kidnap me." I said playing along. "Oh and don't forget the phone number so it will be easier to track you down." Emily butted in. "Sure, I do not see the problem with that." I smiled "Girls" Jack, Spencer, Grayson and Sam mumbled.
