Chapter -9 Meeting with the client

Meeting with the client:-

The next day was a holiday and Amber was accustomed to walking up late in the morning on her holidays. But today was different. She could not get proper sleep last night. Her mind kept on reminding her that she had to visit the fertility clinic at 12 noon.

She did not even have a proper meal as a she was stressed and anxious about visit the fertility clinic for a medical checkup.

Julia had been noticing her restlessness, and she even wanted to talk to her about the same but easy step back. She did not find Amber in a mood to have a conversation with her.

Amber was dressing up to leave for the clinic when Julia walked into her room. Amber was surprised to see her friend all dressed up as if she was going somewhere.

"Hey, where are you going, Julia? " Amber inquired.

Julia replied with a smile, "I am coming alone with you, darling."

Amber was started by the sudden gesture. She inquired while coming through her hair, what... but why? I mean, you don't need to come alone. I can manage on my own, "Amber started.

Julia sat down on the edge of the bed and assisted, "I know you are a strong girl and you can manage everything. But still, I want to come with you and you better than it.

Amber placed the comb on the dressing table before the mirror and set beside Julia on the bed. Please Julia, try and understand. I want to walk alone, all myself, on the road that I have selected. If even I feel the need to have you by my side, I will definitely give you a call. Trust me."

Julia placed her palm over the back of Amber's hand and replied, "I trust you, Amber." It's just that I am more concerned about you. It's such a bold step that you have taken, my dear friend. And I don't want to go alone."

Amber placed her arm around her shoulder and confessed. "I know babe. You are worried about me and my will being. But trust me, you need not stress over it much. I know how to take care of myself and I will be safe. Don't worry.

Julia had given up till now and signed, "Are you sure, Amber? Do you really want to go alone?Amber stood up from the bed and answered back, " Yes, my friend, of course."

Julia positioned herself opposite Amber as she made her statement. Now that you have made up your mind to go all by yourself, promise me that you will take care of yourself and give me a call if you need any help.

Her words put a smile on Amber's face. "Yes, I'll do as you say, " Amber declared with a laugh. Amber was aware that her best friend was concerned about her well being, but she knew that if she accompanied her to the fertility clinic, the stress might get elevated. This was the reason why Amber refused her offer to come alone.
