13 Mr. O’Hannigan’s visit. 13 March 1971. Emilee was buzzed to the reception of her college early Saturday morning, minutes after eight. She had a guest. This is so strange. Weird. Nobody calls at the front desk anymore. She had just finished showering after her rowing practice earlier that morning and combed her damp hair with her fingers as she made her way down. It was too early for her appointment with Caroline and Douglas. They were meeting with her at noon at the usual place. Rachel would have come to her room. The same went for Tracy. He stood in front of one of the windows, close to the front doors. It was the man from the march. Even though the light haloed his silhouette, it was unmistakable. How dare he? “How did you find me?” Emilee whispered, upset that he made her blush.
