24Sirens quieted as the ambulance screeched to a stop at the edge of Maddox Hill Hospital. A striking woman wearing a fitted black lab coat, rushed toward it. She had silver hair that ran perfectly straight down her back like a sheath of metal. Standing at least six feet tall, she was practically a model herself. The ambulance doors swung open, and a medic wheeled out a blue crash cart with a black hamper attached. He pointed to a black bag that partially popped out of the hamper. The tall woman waved the crash cart to a gated door by the hospital and handed the medic a key. He wheeled the crash cart behind Maddox Hill as the woman put a phone to her ear.
