Macy had an amazing time on their date. Zach had been a gentleman like usual and taken her to eat at a fancy restaurant, then for a walk, and lastly for coffee and dessert. They had chatted about anything that came to mind and she learned that it was easy to converse with Zach. As they headed back home Macy said something that made Zach laugh. She was stunned for a moment at the sound. It was deep and husky, and by the hitch, in his chuckle, Macy could tell that he hadn't done it often. She wanted to hear it again.
