Daily Log 21 Krishna So, the latest bombshell had caught me off guard. “I thought that Samuel and Samantha had kids and lived happily every after.” I said. “That is what they make it seem,” William said. “They both died.” “When did that happen?” I asked. “I vaguely remember it I must have been around 3 or 4 years old.” William said. “What in the f**k?” I said sighing heavily. “Wait...” I said realizing something. When the boys first came in, they said that they had come in because it had something to do with Samantha White. “Did she die from complications from the Sigmosis Plague?” I asked. There was a long pause. If this damn Sigmosis Plague mutated and suddenly become deadly we could have a possible deadly disease that no one knew about for the past decade or so. I wondered if this was what the General had discovered. There would be more deaths though. A lot more deaths than just this one girl. “We just know she’s dead,” Vinnie said. “And so is Cassie.” “She’s dead?” I asked and Vinnie nodded. “And Samuel Blanco,” William added. “So, of the people we know only the Colonel is alive?” I said. I was starting to wonder why that was then I realized. Of all others the Colonel had something…or rather somebody they didn’t. “Heather…” I said. “It has to be her immunity to the plague that has kept the Colonel alive all this time.” The boys nodded. “Did your mom tell you anything about that?” I asked Eugene. “No sir,” Eugene said. “Damn,” I cursed as the reason why Heather was always around the Colonel could have been extremely useful. “We do think that the General discovered as much as we did now,” Eugene said. “So, your lives could be in danger?” I said. “What about you?” Eugene said. “Please my life is not in danger at all.” I said. “You really think that?” Vinnie said. “You saw me throw a knife at you through a window.” I said. “Huh?” William said. “I don’t…” Eugene started so I simply got up. Walked over to the boys before anyone of them could react and slammed them all to the ground. I did not do it hard. They all stared at me wondering just how I had done that. “How?” William said. “I trained long and hard.” I said shrugging. I helped the boys up to their feet. “Well then it’s settled, you boys do not leave my sight,” I said. “What do you mean don’t leave your sight?” Vinnie said. “I can protect you idiots,” I said. “Even from those black knight guys.” “Hey, we should have a catchy nickname like that,” Vinnie said. “Like the black knights?” I asked. “Yeah,” Vinnie said. “Browne Knights?” Eugene asked. “No that makes us sound like we take a shit.” Vinnie said. “How about Redd, Browne, Gould and white?” William said. “Firstly, it should be Browne, Gould, White and Redd.” I corrected. “Anyone else realize we have a bunch of random colors?” Eugene said. “Hey that’s it, how about Color Brothers?” Vinnie suggested. “Umm…no.” I said. “Power Rangers?” Vinnie said after looking at a corner as if trying to figure something out for a while. I wondered if the f*****g monkey was somehow over there having a kick out of telling Vinnie to say that. “Fine f**k it, Color Brothers it is,” I said before he said something else stupider than that. “So, what is the plan sir?” William asked. “We have to infiltrate Glycol,” I said. “We have to infiltrate what now?” Vinnie said. “Glycol,” I said as I sat back down at the desk. “As in probably the most secure city on the planet?” Vinnie said. “Probably even more than Omicron,” I nodded. “Omicron?” Vinnie said he tilted his head in a strange manner. “Yes, the dead moon.” I said. “Omicron is not dead.” Vinnie said. “Beth is from there.” “No, she’s not,” I sighed realizing that his meds must be wearing off. “Yes, she is, we had some intense s*x on it, like really intense.” Vinnie said. Eugene and William looked at him as if he was weird. “It was hot, especially when she got on top of me with all four of her le…” “Lieutenant! What you and your girlfriend do in the privacy of your own home is no matters of ours!” I barked before he finished whatever the f**k he was going to say. I was starting to wonder if Vinnie had always been an air head and the Sigmosis made him worse. That was a possibility.  I then wondered if Vinnie had forgotten to use protection one day the two of them were fooling around and that was how he got Sigmosis. I sighed because I was pretty sure I was right about that. I suddenly realized something, so I typed in the name Persephone Jeune in the computer a second later only Cassandra Jeune came up and it highlighted the Name Persephone Jeune under the “children” section of her personnel file. I c****d my eyebrow and looked at Cassandra’s personnel file. Lieutenant Cynthia Cassandra “Cicada” Jeune Subject # 4104 And she had the strangest quote I had ever seen which was saying something, considering that weird sow s**t I had seen earlier. “Behold the mare, she who will bare the seed of the stud, from which comes the dawn of the new age with her child the mother of insects.” again it was by Avatar Avadhut. “What in the s**t does that mean?” I asked mostly to myself. But then I realized something. When I realized it, Vinnie looked white and he started backing out of the room hoping I wouldn’t notice. “You son of a b***h!” I threw a knife at Vinnie before he had reached the door because he had bolted. I managed to hit Vinnie on the back of his shoulder, and he went down. “Grab the son of a b***h!” I said to Eugene and William who looked confused, but they did not want to disobey a direct order, so they went over and grabbed Vinnie. “Agh!” Vinnie yelped as Eugene and William grabbed him and dragged him towards me. “Care to explain soldier?” I asked Vinnie. “Explain what?” I asked. “Your f*****g girlfriend per records is the daughter of Cassandra Jeune!” I said. “Oh, you do know that,” Vinnie said. “So, what if she’s her daughter?” “Why’d you run?” I asked. “I promised her not to tell anyone,” Vinnie sighed heavily. “Tell anyone what?” I asked. “She was born with Sigmosis.” Vinnie said. I stood there in shock. “Born with it?” I said and Vinnie nodded. “I thought the offspring of people afflicted by it could not have it.” Eugene said. “I mean I don’t have it. And my mom has had it longer than I’ve been alive.” “I would check with a doctor who is not paid by the Empire to suppress that data.” Vinnie said. “Either that or like in Beth, her Sigmosis is recessive.” Shit I didn’t know whether to believe him or not, because he had just called her Beth, instead of Persephone. Was he off his meds again or was he telling the truth? I took a gamble on not believing him. “What the f**k does it mean by the mare?” I asked. “How the s**t should I know?” Vinnie said. “Does your girl have mutations?” I asked gambling on further. “Oh, f**k yeah she has mutations, she has four perfect legs. I love it when she wraps all of them around me.” Vinnie said. “s*x is f*****g fantastic! I mean I sometimes hold on to her front set of legs….” “SOLDIER!” I yelled because I was pretty sure he was full of it for real now. Especially since he had said earlier it was recessive. If it was recessive it would mean she had no outward signs of mutations. Like Heather didn’t have any signs of mutations. I walked back from Vinnie and sighed heavily. “Go back to your room and take your meds Vinnie,” I said. “I’m telling the truth, she has four legs!” Vinnie said. “Oh?” I said taking a further gamble I asked. “And how many boobs does she have Vinnie?” “Three, and they are f*****g fantastic!” Vinnie said. “The middle one is like her spot where she gets the most aroused by, I play with that one a lot.” “Get him out of here,” I told Eugene and William. “You have to believe me,” Vinnie said as Eugene and William grabbed him. “I’ll believe you when you stop saying bullshit and are on your meds.” I said. “If you don’t believe me ask her, it was one of the reasons we broke up.” Vinnie said. “She didn’t want to have kids that would have the same affliction as her.” “Your still with her Vinnie,” I said. With that he was gone. Well this thing started beeping but that was pretty much my day today. So until my next log this is Captain Marx Browne Signing off for today.
