Peace

••••••Rachel POV•••••• I wish I could stay in this moment forever. That was was the last thing I thought about before I went to sleep but now I find myself thinking the same thing all over again. I’ve been laying here for about 10 minutes just reveling in the warmth of Sam and the covers. I’m always an early riser so I have the privilege of watching the purple and pink hue of the sky from the sun coming up from the horizon. Sam is splayed on his back mouth slightly open softly snoring. I sit here admiring his thick eyebrows high cheekbones and strong jaws. I can see his tattoos on his abdomen and arms more in detail from my view on his chest. What a beautiful chocolate man. I think which gives me an idea. I untangle myself from Sam who gives me an unappreciative groan. I roll my eyes smirking as he flips on his stomach and grabs the pillow I was on, smiling as he cuddles into it. I make my way to the en-suite from last night. I take a quick shower after I figure out how to use his rainfall shower that apparently has wall jets. I figured that out the hard way. I didn’t realize how sore I was until the warm water ran down my body. A shiver ran down my body despite the warm water at the sudden clenching of my stomach when my body remembered the bliss we were in last night. So glad I waited because THAT was worth the wait. It took me a while but I stopped the water and grabbed a towel off the rack. I hadn’t noticed last night the floors were heated and so was the towel rack. I thought it was just me... nah it probably was me. I heated again at the thought of his firm butt with the bubbles dripping down his back to his crack. I shake my head. Yeah it was definitely me. I stroll into the walk in closet he has in the very back of the en-suite. I look around the mostly empty closet aside from the expensive suits and some assorted shirts . I find the drawers with his T-shirt’s , ties and underwear. I settle on a plain grey V neck with some black silk boxers and long black socks that come over my knees. This will do for the idea I have in mind. My hair should be dry enough to put into a ponytail. Gone is the straight hair as I stand back in the mirror pulling my wild waves into a messy bun on my head. I tiptoe through the bedroom and into the hallway careful to crack the door so I don’t wake Sam. I find my way down the hall into his spacious living room to the kitchen. Lucky for me, he has a coffee machine with buttons I recognize to make a decent cup of joe. I’ve talked to Cass in the break room while she fixed his coffee so I know how he likes it. I toast some bagels and add butter, cream cheese, and some jam in their own bowls to a tray with the coffee, along with some sugar and creamer. I tip toe back into the room. While I was out there I grabbed my clutch and rejoiced that Sam was still sleeping. I placed the tray on a table near the bed. The sunrise was casting a beautiful hue in the room, I hurry to find my phone in my clutch to take the perfect photo opportunity of a sleeping Sam. Perfect. I smiled down at my photo satisfied with the results. “What are you smiling about? Tell him your busy.” I look up startled only to see those piercing green eyes. His tone was serious but I could see the smile in his eyes. “Fine. I’m busy.” I say tossing him the phone. He grabs the phone off the bed then looks at the picture. “Wow. Never mind I think you should keep him, he’s a catch.” he says handing me back the phone grinning. “Yeah” with one last glance “I think so too.” He gets up in his full naked glory and stretches. Yum. He turns catching me eyeballing his rear end. “Like what you see” he asks with a wink. I shrug and turn with a blush. “Well I definitely like what I see, you should wear me more often” He says looking over my attire. I give him an amused glare sticking out my tongue. I decided to change the subject before I forget the food I prepared for us. “I made us a small breakfast. According to your almost empty kitchen this was all that was available so I hope it’s okay.” I sit on the edge of the bed and grab my own cup sipping while watching the sun come up slowly. I wish I could wake up like this everyday. “It’s more than okay. I don’t really stay here much hence the low stock of food but I’m hoping that will change soon.” I look over at him knowing what he means but not wanting to get my hopes up. Sam may not be like most rich douches but I also don’t know him that well. He hasn’t given me a reason not to trust him but I’ve always had a guard up when it comes to letting people close to me. I give him a small smile as we stare into each other’s eyes having a silent conversation. “Hurry an drink your coffee before it gets cold” I say rolling my eyes. He laughs then grabs his cup and a bagel that he hands to me. We each grab a side to break in half to share. I smile to myself at the simple sweet gesture. We sat making small conversation about random things all while we enjoyed breakfast and watched the sunrise.
