After talking with Amira's parents, Ace sat back and pondered what to do next, feeling somewhat relieved that the twins had accepted him as their father, a significant step in family dynamics.
Ace had explained to the twins what he had been doing and why he hadn't visited them. Observing the twins' reactions surprised him quite a bit, especially after hearing their uncle accidentally mention that the twins were highly intelligent.
"Carlos, call a meeting for me tomorrow when we get back."
"Bring Russ and King in, too. I might need to stay here temporarily," Ace, who was sitting drinking on the second-floor balcony of the house, turned to instruct Carlos, who was sitting next to him, causing Carlos to nearly spit out his drink.
