Karla’s pov I sat on the edge of the hospital bed, staring at my feet and repeating over and over again in my head, Move. Move, I ordered them. Days had passed since I’d started physical therapy and although I had improved really well from that first day out when Alaric had to brace all of my wobbly weight in his arms to get me onto a chair, I was still so weak.
