Edith had learned a long time ago that the world was hierarchical and ranked.

Of course the Veerleys had already taken care of everything for her, but no one could fault Leo for what he had done. As Edith's cousin, it was more than sweet to be close to her sister on her first day of school and take care of some of her chores.

This cousin had a nice gentle voice. Edith commented mentally before lifting the hem of her skirt on both sides and playfully flexing her legs as she straightened up and smiled at Leo:

"Of course, my pleasure!"

The Violet Junior Academy was called that because it was originally a flourishing violet garden, violets were a symbol of purity, virtue and hope in Estara, and perhaps because of that, the school didn't destroy the garden when it was established, but instead relied on it to complete the architectural design of the school.

The carriage drove all the way in, lined with a sea of lushly blooming violets, fragrant with fragrance. Waiting to disembark the carriage, Leo introduced Edith:

"This is the main building of the academy, I'll take you to your tutor."

The young girl's skin was fair and bright looking, a pair of emerald eyes were particularly striking, she looked about the same age as Edith, probably because she bumped into someone right out of the door, her face was a little less than good, she about wanted to get angry, but when she saw Edith, she didn't know what for, she froze, and actually caved in.

It was only when her eyes strayed that she saw Leo, who was still holding his arms outstretched. The young girl's anger seemed to have an outlet, she glared fiercely at Léo, and grunted softly and delicately from her nostrils as she peeled away from him and walked away.

Leo smiled helplessly at Edith and said, "Violet's the worst-tempered little girl to mess with, she should be on the same level as you, you don't have to force yourself to deal with her if you don't like it."

Leo was always thoughtful in his actions, but he probably didn't realize that the young girl hadn't gone far and happened to hear him.
