I quickly grabbed my phone and dialed Dave's number, my mind racing with worry. “I need you to find out where my wife is, with her location,” I said, trying to keep my tone even.
“I'll do it ASAP, but is everything okay?” Dave asked, a hint of concern in his voice. “This is the second time you're asking me to do this.”
I didn't have time for explanations. “Just do what I say,” I replied, ending the call.
