Zara's POV
As I gazed into Lucius's eyes, I couldn't help but think about the evening's events. Dave and Lucius had seemed a bit... off answering our questions with conflicting responses. But I hadn't wanted to ruin the date, so I'd brushed it off and suggested we play a game instead.
The rest of the evening had been a blast, with laughter and jokes flowing easily. But now, as I stood in our apartment, I couldn't help but wonder what was really going on with Dave and Lucius.
I pushed the thought aside, focusing on the man in front of me. As soon as Lucius locked the door behind us, I wrapped my arms around his neck and pulled him in for a kiss.
