Zara’s POV
I kept thinking about everything. Why did he take so long before he gave me his response? Why wasn’t he happy about going with me? I know dinner went well but I am not cool with this… I can understand the fact that he may be jealous about me talking so much about the Marlowe son but something feels off, I don’t even understand anymore…. I got off the bed and stepped out waiting for him to return because he told me he needed to do something urgent.
I brought out my phone and texted Vanesssa, “Are you up?”
“No love,are you okay?” She questioned but I really don’t know how to express myself to her through writing so she called immediately.
“A penny for your thoughts ... .Come on, talk to me.”
“It’s about Lucius, I feel something is off.”
“Okay, what do you feel?”
