Zara’s POV
“Why are you closing your eyes?” Lucius asked, his voice sending shivers down my spine, low and husky.
I felt a surge of frustration and embarrassment. Why wasn’t he kissing me? Didn’t he find me attractive? I opened my eyes to find him looking at me with an unreadable expression.
I have never seen a stupid and slow-witted guy like him, I thought to myself, trying to salvage my wounded pride.
I got up, trying to brush off the awkwardness. “I just love closing my eyes.” I replied feeling like a fool.
Lucius nodded, his expression neutral, “I see.”
