Lucius’s POV
I walked into the hotel room, dropping my keycard on the counter. Dave was pacing back and forth, his expression worried. I already knew the reason he was acting like this but I am going to play it cool by acting dumb. I know he will be so frustrated..I held back my laughter.
“Hey man, were you waiting for me to have dinner? You shouldn’t have.. I already had dinner..”
He stopped pacing and turned to me, his eyes wide with incredulity, “Are you serious right now? Talking about dinner?” He asked, his tone laced with exasperation, “How on earth did you get connected with Zara Wallace?”
