(Leland’s P.O.V) I could tell that this wasn’t going well at all. I couldn’t help myself when I smelled her: sweet peas, just like the day she was born. I know that she smells different to her mate, but to her family and to everyone else, she smells of sweet peas. I never thought I would get this chance because I knew I needed to stay away from her, and I needed everyone to continue to think she was dead.
