Chapter 3

Lisa

AFTER DISMISSAL, I decided to go home early. I really want to talk to Ten. I know he's still upset. I was about to go inside my car but someone stopped me from behind. I turned around and saw Jennie. Yes, she's the one who stopped me.

"What?" I asked.

"Can you bring me home?" I raised a brow after I heard it.

"Why? I thought you'll go shopping with Chaeyoung?" I asked again.

"Ah, yeah. But I will go home first to change my clothes." She replied and showed her gummy smile again.

"I'm sorry, Jennie. But I can't. Maybe next time." I said. But suddenly, Jisoo unnie approached us. "Bingo! Jisoo unnie, can you bring Jennie in her house?"

"Yeah, yeah. No problem. Lets go, Jennie." She said. I sighed. Finally, they're gone now.

I went first on my favorite restaurant and bought a tteokbokki for Ten. After that, I drove towards my house.

As soon as I entered my house, I saw Ten sitting on the couch with his serious face. Okay. I think this will be my last day. I think he will kill me anytime. Oh god, help me please.

I put down the tteokbokki on the table and sat on the couch beside him.

"My Ten, are you still upset?" I'm trying to be cute here because that's his weakness.

"What do you think, Manoban? Huh? Do you think I'm happy? Tell me, you already have someone else, right? Tch." I smacked his head. He's being negative again.

"Can you let me talk first? Tch. I'm sorry about earlier. I'm not being distant to you, Ten. And don't worry, I'm still yours, okay?" He automatically smiled after hearing my words.

"Aish! My heart is melting, Lisa-yah." I just kissed his nose.

I miss him. I really do. After those months without him, I feel like I'm empty. Even though I'm with Chaeyoung, I'm still not happy because I'm not with him. But now that we're together again, I'm really happy.

"Ten." I called him.

"Waeyo?" He asked. I looked at him and kissed his nose again.

"I love you." His face turned red but he still smiled at me and kissed my lips.

"Same here, Lisa. I love you, too." I hugged him and he hugged me back.

This is the reason why I really love him. He's almost perfect. Oh, scratch that. He's really perfect. I'm very thankful because I met him.

He intertwined our hands and hugged me again. I'm so lucky to have someone like him.

"Lisa, promise me that you'll never leave me no matter what happens." He seriously said. Here we go again. Honestly, I hate promises. Tch. For me, it was just a lie.

"Ten, I hate promises. Because promises are meant to be broken. But don't worry, I'm willing to do that. I will never leave you no matter what happens." I replied. He caressed my hair.

"Ten! Wait here. I have something for you." I went in the kitchen and grabbed the tteokbokki I bought earlier. I went back in the living room and sat beside him.

"What is that?" He confusingly asked.

"Tteokbokki for my Ten." I said and gave him the tteokbokki.

"Aish, you still remember that, right? Haha. I love you. Thanks for this."

We talked for about an hour until he decided to go home. I didn't agree first, yeah, but I have no choice. So now, I'm alone again. I'm feeling sad again. I really hate this when I'm alone. Tch.

I went inside my room and layed down on my bed. I turned on my phone and Jennie's name shocked me. Aish.

Lili! It's me, Jennie!

Here we go again with my cute nickname she made. But wait, how the hell did she get my number? Did Chaeyoung gave it to her? Or Jisoo unnie? Aish!

I didn't reply on her text. I'm not in the mood now. I just texted Chaeyoung because she's still not here. Remember? We're living together now. It's already 7 in the evening but she's not here yet.

I just slept while waiting on my chipmunk.

"Lalisa, wake up, now. Lets eat dinner." The girl said as she tapped my shoulders to wake me up. Argh. Who the hell is she.

"And who are you? I don't talk to strangers." I said in a low tone and my eyes are still closed.

"So your chipmunk is now a stranger to you? Alright. Tch." I automatically opened my eyes and looked at her.

"C-Chaeng! I'm sorry. I didn't know that it was you." I said as I smiled awkwardly on her. But she's still serious! I'm dead!

She rolled her eyes on me and went out of my room. I followed her and I was about to hug her but she pushed me away.

"Don't come near me. I'm a stranger, right? Tch." Okay. She's pissed. Aish! She's mad at me. I can't do anything about it. Because when she's mad, she's really mad. Like anytime, she will just kill you to lessen her anger.

While we're eating, no one's talking. It's really silent, yeah. And I didn't even bother to break the silence.

I took a glance on her and saw her seriously eating and obviously mad at me. But then, she noticed that I'm looking at her so I quickly looked away. But once she's not looking at me anymore, I looked at her again. Aish! How will I say sorry to her? I will just set aside my pride for now. She's my bestfriend and I seriously don't want to lose her.

"R-Rosé." s**t. I stuttered. But she just ignored me. After finishing her food, she stood up and leave me.

Argh! She's really mad at me. I quickly finished my food and washed the dishes. After that, I went to her room to apologize. I didn't bother to knock. I just opened the door and sat beside her.

"Chaeyoung-ah. Sorry about earlier." I said and pouted. She looked at me and she's still freaking serious.

"And why are you talking to me? You don't talk to strangers, right?" She said and raised a brow that made me pout again.

"You're not a stranger, Chaeng. You're my bestfriend." I sincerely said. But she ignored me. But I'm Lalisa Manoban. So I hugged her. "Chaengie, I'm really sorry. I didn't mean it." Even though I can't see her face, I knew she's now smiling. I pulled away and looked at her and yeah. She's really smiling.

"Aish, Lalisa. You know that I can't resist you. But don't you dare do that again or else, I will really kill you." I chuckled.

"Alright, Chaeng. So, we're okay now?" She happily nodded so I smiled. "Yay! I love you, chipmunk." I said and kissed her cheeks.

"Haha don't worry. I love you too, monkey." She said as she hugged me.

"Chaengie." I called her as I pulled away from the hug.

"Hmm?"

"Do you have feelings for Jisoo unnie?" She widened her eyes after she heard my question and slapped my arms. "Awww!" I hissed.

"What the hell are you saying, Lalisa? Me? Have feelings for Jisoo unnie?!" She answered me by another question.

"Why? I can see it in your eyes. The way you're looking at her since the very first time you saw her." I smirked.

"You really know me." I just chuckled, waiting for her answer on my question earlier. "I have a little crush on her." She replied. I poked her cheeks, teasing her.

"I thought, you're straight like a ruler." I teasingly said.

"Same here, Lisa." We laughed together. Suddenly, my phone rang and saw Ten's name on the caller ID so I answered it and turned it to loud speaker so Chaeng will be able to hear it.

"Hello, Ten?"

"Lalisa. What do you want to hear first? Good news or bad news?" He asked from the other line.

"I will go with the good one first." I replied. I looked at Chaeng and I can tell that she's already worried.

"His company is no longer exist now. And I bet you already know why." He said that made my face brighten, same as Chaeyoung.

"Finally!" Chaeyoung and I said.

"So you're with Chaeyoung. Good to hear, Lalis." He said and chuckled.

"Enough with that, Ten. What's the bad news?" I asked.

"He's back." My jaw dropped after I heard it.

This can't be. No. I need to stop him. He might kill our family if I will not stop him.

"f*****g shit." Chaeng said.

"Ten, you're not joking, right?" I seriously asked.

"Ofcourse not, Lisa. He's really back. I saw him earlier. But I guess, he's just here for his vacation. Besides, he didn't have any idea that we're here now in SoKor. Don't worry. I'll protect us and our family." I smiled as I heard his words. He's definitely the real hero among us.

"Thanks for informing us, Ten. Keep your eyes on him. And don't let him know that we're here in SoKor. He'll definitely attack us again." Chaeyoung said.

"I will keep my eyes on him, Chaeng. And oh, the guys are now keeping their eyes on him. So there's nothing to worry anymore. I'll hang up now, Pranpriya and Chaeyoung." He said as he hanged up.

I sighed as I looked at her. I'm starting to worry again. He have his own ways to track us. And I know, soon, he will know that we're here now in SoKor.

"It's alright, Lis." I leaned my head on her shoulders and she wrapped his arms on my waist. I didn't notice that I already fell asleep on her shoulders but she just let me.

I groaned as I heard my alarm clock ringing. I turned it off and opened my eyes. I saw Chaeyoung still sleeping beside me. I didn't remember that we slept together. But it's okay. We've done this for so many times.

I wrapped my arms on her waist and kissed her forehead.

"Hmm." She groaned.

"Good morning, bestfriend." I said and kissed her forehead again. I saw her smiled while her eyes are still closed.

"Good morning." I just smiled. "We only have an afternoon class today, right?" I nodded on her. "Lets have a date. Call your boyfriend and ask him to join us." She commanded.

I grabbed my phone inside the drawer and called him. He immediately answered it and I blushed when I heard his husky voice. Damn. He's so sexy with that.

"Lisa, your face." Chaeyoung teased so I glared at her.

"Lisa? Why? Any problem?" Ten asked from the other line. I still can't get over on his husky voice.

"T-Ten! I'll be having a date with Chaeyoung today since we only have an afternoon class this day. And she wants you to join us." I said.

"Oh, that's good. Okay. I will fix myself now then I'll go to your house. I love you." I blushed again. Goodness. How can he be so sweet?

"Y-Yeah, I love you too." I said and hanged up.

"Whipped." I slapped her arm.

I stood up and fix myself, getting ready for our date. Then suddenly, an idea came to my mind. I grabbed my phone and dialed Jisoo's number and she quickly answered it.

"Jisooni!" I excitedly greeted.

"Aish, Lisayah! You're so loud." I just chuckled on her. "Anyway, why the hell you called me?"

"Well, I'm having a date with Ten and Chaeyoung will join us. Now, I'm asking you if you want to join us?" I hope she will agree. This is for Chaeyoung. This is for the both of them, actually.

"Y-Yeah, sure. Good thing, I'm all ready now. I were about to go to your house when you called me." She said.

"Okay. See you later, Unnie!" I said and ended the call.

I just wore a ripped jeans and my favorite shirt. I went outside my room and saw Chaeyoung wearing a jeans and a simple shirt, too.

"Ten is on his way here." She said and I just nodded.

I sat on the sofa and she did the same. A minute passed and Ten is finally here. I welcomed him with a hug.

"Goodness, Limario, I really love your scent." He said as we pulled away from the hug.

"I'll take that as a compliment." And I kissed him in his cheek.

"I'm with Chichu." He whispered that made me smile. Jisoo stepped inside the house and expectedly, Chaeyoung is shocked seeing her.

"Jisooni! I'm glad you came." I said and hugged her. After our hug, I turned my gaze on Chaeyoung. "Yah, Rosé! Why don't you hug Jisoo unnie?" I teasingly asked. But to my surprise, Jisoo is the one who pulled her for a hug that made her blush.

Hmm. I smell something. I think, Jisoo unnie feel the same way. Well, I'm always ready to help my bestfriend when it comes to these things.

Before we enter Ten's car, I pulled Chaeng closer to me.

"Thank me later, bestfriend." I whispered. I entered the car and sat on the passenger's seat. I looked at Ten and winked at him, and he did the same.
