"HELLO, SIR. I already have an update about them. Do you want me to tell it now?"

"Just go straight to the point."

"They are currently on a vacation in one of the famous beach here. With the daughter of Mr. Kim."

"Okay. Just keep your eyes on them. Don't make a wrong move or else, they will find out that we're keeping our eyes on them. I trust you."

"Copy, Sir. And, Sir, I heard Ms. Manoban talked about Mr. Oh."

"Mr. Oh Sehun?"

"Yes."

"It's okay. We need to make an action now. We need to kill him first since he's the true knight-in-shining armor of that Manoban."

"Noted, Sir. We'll work on it."

The next day, I woke up because my phone vibrated. Ten and Bam are still sleeping. I quickly opened my phone and saw a message from an unknown person.

Protect yourself. I'm not there to protect you so you need to protect yourself.

I furrowed. Who's this? My Dad? Or perhaps, my uncle?

"Hey, Lali? What's the problem?" I heard Ten asked. I looked at him and nervously shook my head.

"It's nothing, Ten. Go and sleep more." I said.

"Aish. Aniya. Aniya. We need to start this day already. Let's go and workout." He seriously said and sat up. I mentally rolled my eyes.

"It's too early for that, Ten. It's just 5 in the morning." I said and was about to sleep again when he smacked my head. I groaned in annoyance.

"C'mon, Lalisa. I will really kiss you if you didn't get up after 1 minute." He warned. I rolled my eyes once again and sat up. I glared at him.

"Tch. I hate you."

"Oh? Really? Don't worry. I love you." He teased and stood up.

He's so annoying.

"Dress up now, Lalisa! I'm serious about my words!" He shouted. I irritatedly stood up and went to the bathroom to take a shower.

As I finished changing my clothes, I went to the living room and saw Ten and Irene unnie sitting comfortably on the couch. I quickly approached them.

"So, what are we gonna do?" I asked in a flat tone.

"We'll workout. Come on." Ten said.

"Where? There's no gym here."

"Well, you're totally mistaken, Lali. There is. So let's go." He said and stood up.

"Just the three of us?" Irene unnie asked.

"Yes. They're still sleeping. Stop asking now. Let's go."

We just followed him from behind. The wind is already fresh. It's so fine.

In the midst of walking, Ten keep on talking. We almost kicked his private part because of annoyance. He's really annoying. He's so childish.

"Here we come!" I flinched when I heard Ten shouted. I mentally rolled my eyes.

We entered the gym after that. I just sat on the floor and Irene unnie sat beside me while Ten starts working out.

"Hey, you two. We're here to workout so better stand up now and join me." He said.

"We're not in the mood to workout, Chittaphon."

"So why did you come with me?"

"You insisted us to go with you." I said and rolled my eyes. I took out my phone from my pocket and opened the message I received earlier.

Who are you?

"Who's that?" I flinched when I suddenly heard Irene unnie's voice. I forgot that she's beside me.

"Nothing. Just a friend." I said.

"Anyway, Lisa, what's the score between you and Jennie?" Ten asked.

"We already confessed our feelings for each other." I simply said.

"Wow! I thought you're a total coward to confess." He said so I glared at him.

Well, it's true. I'm a coward before about confessing my true feelings. Because I'm afraid of rejections.

"You're not courting her yet?"

"Not yet but I'm planning to."

"Better do it or I'll kill you." Irene unnie said in a low tone. It made me chuckle.

"Ne, unnie. I'll make her mine. Don't worry."

"You really love her, right?" Ten asked.

"Ofcourse!"

"I trust you, Lali." He stated. I just smiled.

After an hour, we already went back in our resthouse. We spotted the rest of the squad in the living room. Jisoo unnie quickly stood up when she saw us and glared at us.

"Where have you been? We're so worried about you! You didn't even left a note! Aish! These three little kids!" She hissed.

She looks like a mother scolding her kids.

"We just went out to workout, Chu. Don't worry." Irene unnie said. Chaeng stood up, too, and smacked my head.

"What the?!"

"You're girlfriend was so worried about you!" She shouted.

Girlfriend?

"What? As far as I know, I'm single." I confusingly said.

"Jennie unnie claimed you as her girlfriend." My eyes widened.

Jennie claimed me as her girlfriend? Am I dreaming? If yes, don't you f*****g dare wake me up.

I immediately looked at Jennie who's now fiddling with her fingers and avoiding my stares.

"Oh. Sorry if I made you so worried, baby." I teased and smirked at her. She quickly blushed and looked down.

"Aigoo. Love birds. Let's go and leave the two of them here." Bam said and left with the squad. I sat beside Jennie and gave her my sweetest smile.

"Girlfriend, huh." I teased. She glared at me and pinched my side.

"Shut up. I was just so worried about you."

"Oh, really? Sorry, baby." Her eyes widened and slapped my arm. "Ouch! That hurts, Nini!"

"You deserved that, you little monkey!" I glared at her for calling me a little monkey. "Oh, stop glaring. I'm scared." She sarcastically said. I rolled my eyes and stood up.

That's it. I'm pissed.

I started to walk towards our room. I was about to open the door when suddenly someone hugged my waist from behind. And based on the scent I smelled, it's Jennie.

"You're pissed? I'm sorry, Lili. I love you. I won't do that again. And please don't make me so worried again. I'm afraid that something bad might happen to you." She muttered and rested her head on my back while still hugging my waist from behind.

Oh my Jisoos. I feel like I'm dying right now. Her voice sounds so sweet. And just hearing those words from her, I suddenly felt better already. Gosh, Jennie Kim! I'm so damn inlove with her.

"Hey? Lili? Are you still pissed? Am I not forgiven? Do I need to kiss you first so you'll forgive me?" She asked.

That's it. That's her charm. I can't resist her.

I faced her and kissed her forehead. Then I looked at her cat like eyes and smiled.

"By just hearing those words from you, I'm fine already. And I'm sorry if I made you worried. I won't do that again. I love you." I kissed her forehead again and hugged her. She immediately hugged me back and buried her face on my neck. I really love her scent.

We stayed in that position for a minute. We pulled away from the hug after that. She stared at my face and it made me so uncomfortable. Just thinking that she's this close to me, I'm mentally dying.

"You're so beautiful. Your eyes, your brows, your eyelashes, your cheeks, your teeth, your smile, your laugh, and your lips. You're perfect." She suddenly complimented. My heart starts to beat faster when I heard those words from her. She's so damn sweet! I can't handle this.

Calm down, Lisa. Act normal. Act normal.

"You'll definitely cheat on me when you see other handsome guys out there." I said and pouted. She giggled and kissed my cheek.

"Why would I? I love you, Lalisa. Only you. No one can stop me from loving you. And I will never cheat on you. Because you're my life. You're my everything. Anyway, I'm not yet your girlfriend so I can still look for some handsome guys." She said and wiggled her brows. I pouted again.

"Then go. Tch." I stated and was about to turn my back on her when she held my hand.

"Just kidding, Lili. I promise. I will never hurt you and I will never cheat on you even if I saw other handsome guys out there because for me, and for my heart, you're the only one." She sweetly said and flashed her gummy smile.

"You promised, alright?" She happily nodded. That made me kiss her nose. "Something special is not my thing. So I'll just ask you here, and now. Can I court you, Nini?" I softly asked.

"Ofcourse! You can!" She happily stated. I chuckled because of her cuteness.

"You will be my girlfriend, soon, Ms. Kim." I teased.

"My pleasure, Ms. Manoban." We both chuckled.

Promises are meant to be broken.

But I won't believe on that saying right now. 'Coz I know, Jennie will fulfill her promise. I trust her. I trust her because I love her. And that's the only important thing for me right now. Me and her, happily spending every moment of our lives together.

Maybe I'm a coward before. A coward and afraid of commitments. Knowing that they will leave me, too, just like what my first love did. But right now, with Jennie by my side, I'm willing to take the risk. And I will never get tired of taking that risk. That's how I love her.

"Hey! I heard that you already sent the message to her. Anyway, when will you go back in SoKor to meet her?"

"I don't know yet. But I have to make sure that she's safe all the time. That's the most important thing for me. To keep her and her parents safe. That's the least thing I can do."

"What if she's still mad at you? Are you willing to take the risk?"

"I'm always willing to take the risk if it's about her."

I stayed silent. And decided to answer his question confidently.

"I didn't stop loving her." I said with a smile.

But she stopped loving me and started loving someone else and someone else.

As soon as the rest of the squad went almost far from me, I took out my phone from my pocket and dialed someone's number. Luckily, he quickly picked it up.

"Thank you for answering the call." I said.

"Yeah. It's nothing. So, what's the matter? Did something bad happen?"

"Ani. I just called to ask you. When will you go back here? I need to go back in Thailand as soon as possible. And I can't leave her without the two of you." I said, almost like a whisper. I'm worried that someone might hear our conversation.

"Well, the evil maknae didn't have any plans yet. But don't worry. Maybe next week, Ten. Just wait for us."

"Yeah. I'll wait for you. Just tell me the exact date so I can book my flight as soon as possible. And thank you."

"For everything." I stated and let out a small smile even though he can't see me.

"It's nothing. So, how is she doing right now?"

"She's doing good with that girl. They looks so good together. So your evil maknae needs to go back here as soon as possible if he still want her."

"Hmm. I hope so. I'll hang up now." I said and ended the call. I returned my phone inside my pocket and let out a deep sigh.
