Chapter 1

LISA

I GROANED AS she tapped my shoulder to wake me up. Aish. This girl.

"Hey, Lisa-yah~wake up now. Our breakfast is ready." My chipmunk said. I opened my eyes and saw her beautiful face as usual.

"Alright. I'm awake. Don't worry." I replied.

Let me introduce myself to you. I'm Lalisa Manoban from Thailand, and I'm currently 22 years old. My real name is Pranpriya Manoban but I decided to change it when I migrated here in Korea. When I'm on my freshmens days, I had my friends that I'm so lucky to have. But I went to US to finish some stuffs. And I suddenly met Park Chaeyoung or Rosé my chipmunk. We became bestfriends and decided to live together when we came back here in Korea.

I stood up and fix myself before I went out of my room to eat my breakfast in the dining area.

"C'mon, Lisa. Eat as fast as you can. I don't want to be late on our first day of class." She said and I just rolled my eyes on her.

After I ate my breakfast, I took a shower and after that, I wore my uniform. I really don't want to continue my studies but Rosé convince me on it. And since I love her because she's my damn bestfriend, I will continue my studies. Besides, I want to finish my studies so my parents will be proud of me. That's all I want.

"I'm ready. Let's go." I said to her. We went inside the car and Rosé drove towards our lovely school, YG Campus.

When we arrived at the university beside SM Campus, which is YG Campus our lovely school, I smiled on my thought that nothing's changed here. It's still the same when I left 2 years ago.

"Stop now with your thoughts, Limario. Come on." Rosé said that made me rolled my eyes again.

We went inside the campus and saw many students happily introducing their selves with their new classmates. To tell you honestly, I'm on my last year of college now. After this, I want to go back to Thailand and start my new life as a graduated student. Hell yeah. That's my dream.

"Oh, Lisa, I suddenly remembered that we're classmates, right? Together with our friends?" My chipmunk happily said. Oh. She's so gorgeous.

"Yes." I happily answered.

We're about to continue walking when 5 girls approached us. My chipmunk and I smiled when we realized who are that girls.

"Omg! Lisaaaa! I missed you!" Wendy said as she hugged me. I saw on my peripheral view that Jisoo unnie hugged Chaeng that made me smile. "C'mon, my Lisa, hug me back!" I chuckled because of Wendy so I hugged her back.

They're my friends since our freshmens day. And honestly, I'm so lucky to have a friends like them. When I met Chaeyoung my chipmunk, I introduced her to them through Skype. And they really like her from the start. But after that, we lost our communications with each other because I'm really busy there in US.

"Since you left us 2 years ago, treat us some foods. And oh, I want my chicken, Lalisa." Jisoo unnie said that made me laugh.

"Alright, chicken addict. I will treat you some foods since I missed all of you, too. Chaeyoung, you're their friends now, too, so you should come with us." I said.

We decided to eat on our canteen. And as always, we sat on our favorite table. Irene and Seulgi volunteered to order our foods.

"You're still the same, Lisa. I guess, nothing's changed." Yeri said. I raised my brow.

"Really, Yeri? You think, nothing's changed? If you don't know, there's so many things that already changed when I left 2 years ago. Ask my chipmunk to know." I said frustratedly.

"Easy, my Lalisa. I'm sorry, Yeri. These past few days, she started to easily annoyed in everything and towards everyone." Rosé explained.

Well, yeah, I don't know why I'm easily getting annoyed these past few days.

Irene and Seulgi returned with our foods. We started eating. I miss these foods.

We're happily talking while eating when someone approached us. I looked at her and I was stunned. Damn. She's so damn gorgeous. This girl is so lovely. A-Aish! What am I thinking? Tch.

"Ahm, can I eat my foods with you? I still don't have friends. I'm a transferee." The girl said. I were about to complain but Jisoo Unnie spoke.

"No, it's okay. You can sit there beside her." She said while pointing to the vacant chair beside me. I rolled my eyes when she really sat beside me.

"By the way, let me introduce myself. I'm Jennie Ruby Jane Kim. As what I said earlier, I'm a transferee. I'm from New Zealand." She said. Oh, so that's her name.

"Why did you transfer here, Ruby Jane?" I coldly said. Duh. I don't want to give her a smile, nor talk to her. But I really want to know why she did transfer here.

"Ah, just call me Jennie. I decided to transfer here to enjoy a new life. It's kinda boring now in New Zealand so I decided to migrate here in Korea and decided to study here in YG Campus." She replied.

I don't know why, but I really don't want her. It's just like, I hate her even though she did nothing to me. Hayst.

"So, nice to meet you, Jennie. I'm Jisoo, I'm chicken addict. This is Seulgi, Irene, Wendy, Joy, Yeri, and Rose the chipmunk. And that girl beside you is the one and only Lalisa Manoban. She's beautiful, right?" I glared at her because of what she said. Yes, I admit it that I'm beautiful but I know she's teasing me. Tch.

"Well, yeah. She's so beautiful. Can I be friends with all of you?" Jennie asked. I rolled my eyes again. They all agreed to her. But I'm not answering. Honestly, I don't want to. But...

...Jisoo the chicken addict glared at me like she will kill me if I'll refuse.

I looked again at Jennie and caught her smiling at me. Well, that gummy smile is good, huh. But I still don't want her. But I have no choice.

"Fine. As if I have a choice." I annoyingly said. She showed her gummy smile to me again. I was surprised when she held my hand while still smiling.

"Thank you, Lalisa. Thank you to all of you for accepting me as your friend." She said.

They're talking with each other including that Jennie Kim. But I didn't bother to join them. Besides, I don't want to talk with that Jennie Kim who annoyed me awhile ago. Yes. I'm annoyed at her even though she did nothing.

"Hey Manoban, can you please talk? You're so silent there. Any problem?" Seulgi asked. I suddenly feel better now because of her concern. But, I'm really not in my mood now.

"I'm sorry, guys. I should go now. Chaeyoung, come with me." I stood up and pulled Chaeyoung and we walked outside the canteen.

"Lisa! What's the problem? I'm still eating!" She said and pouted. I chuckled and pinched her cheeks. She's so cute. My chipmunk is so cute.

"My chipmunk, I'm sorry, okay? I'm not comfortable there because of that Jennie Kim." I irritatedly said.

"She did nothing, Lisa. You're so weird."

"Yeah, call me weird if you want. But seriously, I'm just not in my mood today, okay? That's it. Later, I'll approach her. She's our classmate, right? So, you don't have to worry, Chaeng. Just stay with me." I seriously said. She gave me the smile that I really love.

We went inside the private dance and music room here in campus. Luckily, we still have an hour before our first class. I turned on the music and decided to dance. I don't know why but I'm really sad right now. Maybe because of what happened 2 years ago when I left, and when I met that guy.

2 years ago, after I met Chaeyoung and after we became friends, we went to the nearest café to relax. Someone caught my attention. The guy is facing his back on me so I wasn't able to see his face. But then, he turned around, and surprisingly, he looked at me. He's so handsome. Clear skin, and I guess, a dancer too?

We became friends and became closer with each other. Sometimes, he's visiting me on our house. Chaeyoung knew about that. She's even teasing me whenever I'm with him. Oh. By the way, that guy I'm pertaining to is Ten. Not the number. But my Ten.

One day, he confessed his feelings for me. I was so happy back then because I love him, too. We started dating. He courted me for 5 months. Until I decided to be his official girlfriend.

We've been together for almost one year. But one day, he said he need to leave now. He said, too, that his family needs him that time. I'm sad, yeah. Because he will leave me too. But he promised. He promised that he will look for me again. He promised that he will love me until the end. He still loves me that time. He just really need to go back in Thailand because of his family. But it hurts me. Why? Because I lost my communication with him. He's not replying on my messages. He didn't bother to asnwer my calls, too. So I decided to give up on him. Until we came back here in Korea.

Honestly, I'm still madly inlove with him. I don't know if he'll fulfill his promise. But I'm still waiting for him. Hoping that he'll find me. Hoping that I'm still the one he loves. Just like what he promised to me.

Chaeyoung approached me when she noticed that my tears are about to fall down while I'm in the midst of dancing. She stopped me for awhile.

"Lisa, what's the problem?" She asked me. I can tell that she's really worried about me.

"Nothing, Chaeng." I coldly replied but she didn't buy it.

"I'm your bestfriend, Lisa. Spill." She said once again. I sighed. She knew all of my secrets. So what's the sense if I will hide this one? She will probably find out about that.

I sat on the floor and she did the same.

"I miss him, Chaeng. Do you think he still remember me? Do you think he still love me? Do you think he still remember his promise to me?" I sadly asked.

"Lisa, he will fulfill his promise to you. Don't lose your hope. Maybe one day, you will saw him again and will end up being together again." She said trying to convince me.

"But I don't even know if he's here in Korea." I sadly said once again.

"Aish! Just don't lose your hope, okay? Trust him. He will fulfill his promise, Lisa. Believe me." I hugged her tightly. I'm so lucky to have a bestfriend like her.

"Thank you, my chipmunk. I love you." I said while still hugging her.

"I love you too, my Lalisa. Don't forget what I said. Trust him. Okay?" I nodded on her.

After a few minutes, we went to our classroom for our first class. I sat beside Chaeyoung on my left. And the seat on my right is still vacant. Jisoo, Irene, Seulgi, Yeri are on my back. While Wendy and Joy seated beside Chaeyoung. I rolled my eyes when Jennie came and sat beside me. Tch. She should ask first if I want her beside me.

"Lisa, you said that you will approach her." Chaeyoung said and glared at me. Oh. Why do I said that? Aish!

I faced Jennie and surprisingly, she showed me her gummy smile again. Damn this girl. I love gummy smiles, and here she is, showing it to me.

"Yah, Jennie, I'm sorry about what I acted earlier towards you. I didn't mean it. I'm just not in the mood today." I said to her but i didn't bother to smile at her even if I want to.

"It's okay." She coldly said. O-kay? She just smiled at me before I said my sorry and now she's acting cold? She's weird. I just shrugged. Maybe she's not in the mood, too.

But then, I was stunned when she leaned her head on my shoulder like we're close. I'm about to ask her when she spoke.

"I'm having a headache. Just give me a minute." I sighed. As if I have a choice. Besides, it's okay for me now to be her friend. There's nothing wrong with that, right?

"Are you sick? I'll buy you a medicine." I seriously said. She faced me and I was surprised because our face is very close and anytime, I feel like...argh nevermind.

"Really? But I'm okay, Lili. Don't worry about me." I furrowed. Lili?

"What did you just call me?" She chuckled because of my reaction.

"Lili. From now on, I will call you Lili. It's okay for you, right? Besides, it's cute and it suits you." I sighed again.

"As if I have a choice. Tch. Okay. Just call me what you want. I don't give a care." I coldly said but she just laughed.

"Thank you, Lili." I just nodded. But...she's right. It's kinda cute. I smiled secretly because of that. Amazing nickname from Jennie Kim, huh. Lili. Cute.
