Chapter 22

Lisa

THE NEXT DAY, Jennie went out. She said, she'll hangout with her friend, Nayeon. I badly want to go with her but I have something important to do with Bambam, Ten, Jisoo unnie and Chaeng.

We're currently here in Ten's house. We're talking about our plan about Mr. Wang.

"Lisa, you said that you'll go back in Thailand next month, right?" Jisoo unnie asked me. I nodded at her as a response. "Then, you need to be aware of your surroundings. Who knows. Maybe Mr. Wang will follow you there without you knowing it. So you should be careful."

"Don't worry, Chu. I can handle myself."

"Lis, what if we'll go with you?" Chaeng suddenly suggested. I sighed.

"Look, guys, you don't need to worry about me, okay? I can handle him. I'm a good fighter, remember?" I let out a joke to ease the atmosphere right now. They're so serious and I'm not used to them being serious like that.

"What about Sehun?" Ten suddenly asked. My brows furrowed.

"What about him?"

"You know, your parents are surely close with him. They'll be happy if they see him again after a long time." He explained.

"So? You're telling me to ask him to go with me?" He nodded. "I don't know, Ten."

Suddenly, I received a text from Kai.

Kai

Hi, Lis. Can we hangout today? You can invite some of your friends since Sehun will go with me.

I quickly replied a yes to him.

"Hey, Kai wants to hangout with us. He's with Sehun." I said.

"Sure. Where?"

"FeastBar."

"Sure! Let's go!" Bambam excitedly said. Among the five of us, he's the one who really loves going to the bar. I once confronted him about that but he didn't want to listen. Whatever.

"Wait! I thought we gathered here for our plan about Mr. Wang? Why go to the bar and hangout with them?" Chae asked.

"Oh come on, Chae. We need to have some fun! We can just talk about that again tomorrow or the next day."

"I'm asking Lisa, not you." She then turned to me.

"I already agreed to Kai, Chae. Come on." She groaned in annoyance.

I don't know why Chaeyoung hates Kai. I mean, yes, I hated Kai, too. But not anymore since we got closer now with each other. I already consider him as my bestfriend. He's a very nice person so I don't really know why she hates Kai so much.

"Fine. As if I have a choice." We exited Ten's house and went inside my car. I gave Bambam my car keys, and I guess you already know why I did that. He rolled his eyes.

"This is yours but you're always making me drive this car." He hissed. I just laughed at him.

He started the engine and drove away.

"Kai hyung is so nice." Ten suddenly said. He's sitting at the backseat with Jisoo unnie and Chaeng while I'm on the passenger seat.

"Yeah. I'm glad that we became friends with him and Sehun hyung." Said Bambam. I already expected this. Since they're both guys, I know that they will get closer easily with Kai.

"But you know, I think Kai hyung is interested on Jennie." My brows furrowed as I turned to him.

"What did you say?"

"I said, it seems like he's interested on your girlfriend." He repeated.

"Excuse me?"

"Don't worry, Lisa. Jennie loves you and you know that, right? So don't worry. And Kai is your friend. Or maybe a bestfriend already." I let out a sigh.

"That's a pity. I pity Kai because he can't have Jennie." Jisoo unnie said.

Ten's right. I should trust the both of them.

"Lisa, when you're already in Thailand, always update us, okay?" I heard Jisoo unnie said.

"Yes, mom." I joked.

"Yah, Limario! I'm serious here. I will miss you so be careful. Come back to us safely and with a smile on your face." She seriously stated. I gave her a bright smile.

"I promise, Chu. I'll come back safely. And yeah. With a smile on my face. But please, don't talk like I'll be gone for years." I joked again to lighten up the mood. But she threw a glare at me. Aish. She's so serious.

Jisoo

Nyeongan! I won't introduce myself anymore since you already know me and I'm so sure of that.

So, yeah, I really feel so sad that Lisa will be far away from us for a whole month. She's like a little sister to me. The squad are even calling us the crackhead duo, which is indeed true because we're always the one who are making them laugh. The only difference between me and Lisa is, I'm really making everyone laugh because I'm good at making jokes. While Lisa is the one who always brings positive energy to us. She's always there to cheer us up whenever we're feeling down or we're in a bad mood. Even though sometimes, she's overreacting already, it really helps. By doing that, she's making us laugh and forget our problems temporarily.

I know, it's just a month. But hey, you don't understand. So I will really miss my Limario.

"Hey, Jisoo unnie! I've been calling you for 10 times already but I got no response. Are you okay?" Speaking of Lisa, she looks so worried.

"No, no. I'm okay. I'm sorry. What is it?" I asked.

"We're already here. Come on, unnie." After that, we went out of the car.

"Are they here already?"

"What do you think?" Chaeyoung asked with a sarcastic tone. Bambam just pouted and glared at her.

After their small fight, we already entered the bar. Unlike before, there are only a few people here so we easily found Kai and Sehun.

"Hey! I'm glad that you came!" Kai was the one who greeted us first.

"Nyeongan!" I greeted back. He laughed at me.

"As expected from Kim Jisoo. Thank you for coming, guys. Anyway, Lisa, where's Jennie?"

"Oh. She's with her friend." Lisa shortly replied. I noticed her cold tone towards Kai. And I already knew the reason.

I secretly nudged Ten.

"Yah! What's your problem, Chu?" He asked.

"Didn't you notice Lisa's cold tone towards Kai?"

"So? What about that?"

"It's your fault for saying that Kai is interested on Jennie." I scolded.

"It's just what I think. I didn't even know if he's really interested on her." I was about to speak again when my girlfriend spoke.

"Sorry for disturbing your secret conversation there but we're asking for your orders." She coldly said with her brow raised. I cleared my throat.

"I would like to have a plate of chicken." I said.

"Seriously, Chu? Even here at the bar?"

"Why? They're not just selling liquors here."

"Whatever." I stick my tongue out which caused him to glare at me. I just laughed it off. I really love teasing Bambam. We all love teasing him.

Lisa

I didn't know why but Ten's words keep on repeating in my mind. I know, I should trust my girlfriend and my bestfriend. But you can't stop from worrying.

"Lis, are you okay?" Sehun worriedly asked. I assured him with a smile. "Anyway, I heard from Bambam that you're going back in Thailand next month and you'll stay there for the whole month. I know, I shouldn't ask this but can I go with you? I want to see your parents again. It's been a long time, you know." He stated. I smiled. My parents and Sehun are really close with each other since Sehun and I are childhood friends. I still remember those times when Sehun will always go to our house to eat with us. Even his parents are close to our family, too. I miss those old times.

"Sure. You can go with me since I'm planning to use our private plane."

"Oh really? Thank you, Lis. I hope, you won't be awkward around me." He shyly said. I chuckled at him.

"Come on, Sese. We're already good, right? I already forgave you and we're bringing back our friendship, right? I don't feel awkward around you anymore so don't worry, man." I uttered and playfully punched his arm.

"So, Kai and Jennie are slowly getting close with each other, huh." It caught me off guard. My brows furrowed.

"Pardon?"

"They messaged each other yesterday. The whole day, I guess?" My brows furrowed more.

How did they get each other's number? And why did Jennie didn't tell me?

"Wait, you didn't know?" I hesitantly nodded. "Oh god, I'm sorry. I shouldn't have said that."

"No, it's okay. I'll just ask Jennie later. But how did they get each other's number?" I asked him.

"Jennie asked me for Kai's number so I gave her. I'm so sorry, Lis. But don't worry. They're just friends. Jennie loves you. And I really admire your relationship so don't be bothered. Kai is a nice guy. I knew him for let's say, a good 5 years already and he won't do the things that you're thinking." He said trying to calm me down.

"If you want, you can talk to Kai. What do you think?" I shook my head.

"No, it's okay. I trust the both of them." I said with a forced smile.

We continued on having fun. But because of what I just discovered from Sehun, I couldn't focus anymore. I know, maybe they just want to be friends with each other but I really feel so uneasy.

After hanging out with Kai and Sehun, I decided to go home early. I want to rest. I feel so exhausted even though I just sat all day and watched them having fun. It is just 3 in the afternoon. It's stil early to sleep.

When I got home, I spotted Jennie busy on her phone. Suddenly, what Sehun said came back to me.

"Hey." She immediately turned to me.

"Hey, Lili. How's your day?" She softly asked and it caused my heart to melt.

"Fine. I had fun." I replied before I sat beside her. "What about yours?"

"I had fun, too."

"Good to know."

"Lili, are you really going to go back in Thailand? I mean, can't I go with you?" I noticed the sadness in her tone.

"I'm sorry, Nini. It's okay. I'll keep my communication with you. We can always call and message each other. And while I'm away, work hard for your dream." I stated and kissed her forehead softly.

"Come back quickly, okay?" I chuckled.

"What if I don't want to?" I teased.

"Then I will go there and beat the hell out of you." She uttered with a glare. I couldn't help but to laugh.

"Okay, okay. I'll come back quickly. But for now, let's enjoy our time together. Let's go out on a date tomorrow, what do you think?"

"I would love to, Ms. Manoban." She said with a grin.

"Good to know, soon to be Mrs. Manoban." And with that, her face redenned as she tried to avoid my gaze. I looked at her with amusement. I made her blush, huh.

"Anyway, Nini, is it okay if Sehun will go with me? You know, he's really close to my parents so I think it will be a good idea to bring him with me." I uttered while playing with her tiny hands. But I was answered by silence so I looked at her and she is glaring at me right now. My brows furrowed. "Why? Are you mad?" I carefully asked.

"Why would he go with you? Yes, he is close to your parents but it's not a reason." She said in a low tone.

"Because I am sure that my parents would love to see him again."

"Still not a reason, Lalisa." I gulped because of nervousness. This is what I don't really like. Seeing her jealous. I mean, it makes me happy, too, knowing that she's jealous and it will prove that she really loves me. But when she's jealous, I'm always out of words. I can't even look straight into her eyes due to nervousness.

"Please, Nini?"

"So he can go with you and I can't?" She raised a brow on me and crossed her arms. "Why don't you tell him to work hard for his dreams too instead of going with you? Huh?" I gulped again but harder this time. I'm out of words again.

"I'm talking to you, Lalisa." She said blankly.

"I a-already s-said t-that h-he can g-go with me." I stuttered nervously.

"Then why still ask for my permission when you already made a decision all by yourself?"

Oh god. Too young to die right now. I still want to live.

"I-I'm s-sorry." I stuttered, again. Oh god, Jennie Kim. Your effect on me.

"If you really want him to go with you, then go. Tch." She then rolled her eyes and was about to stand up. But before she could even do that, I pulled her to me that caused her to sit on my lap. I wrapped my arms on her waist and rested my chin on her shoulder. I could tell that she was shocked because of what I did. I tried to stop myself from smiling. I really love her vanilla scent. It makes me fall for her more.

"Your decision is important to me, baby. So even though I already agreed to him, but you don't want him to go with me, I can still change my answer. He would understand. I love you, okay? Just you. Always." I muttered.

"Really?"

"Really, baby." I peeked at her face and she's now smiling. I couldn't help but to smile, too. Seeing her happy, makes me happy.

She turned to me and wrapped her arms on my neck. She gave me a peck on my lips.

"No. It's okay. I understand it now. I just realized that I should not control you. Yes, I don't want to share what's mine. And you are mine. But Sehun is your bestfriend. Your childhood friend. And you didn't see each other for years. The same goes with your parents and Sehun. So, alright. He can go with you. But always update me or else, I will kill you." I chuckled at her.

"Noted, my boss. I love you, baby." I said and pecked her lips.

"I love you, too, honey." She replied and did the same thing.

I hope, this will last longer. Just me and her, in our own world.
