“Wasn’t there a blood moon, like, three months ago?” She asked. Werewolves can only find their mates on a blood moon. Something that only happens two nights in a year. It is on these nights that the bond snapped into place, as long as your mate was nearby you could smell their scent and feel them. It is said to be the most amazing smell ever.
“Yes, there was,” he said, looking at her with frustration. He did not really want to find his mate and he did not want her to speak about it, because he had feelings for her.
Both of them stayed quiet for a while, with an hour left before they arrived at the pack grounds. The car was quiet, so Ava decided to put on some music. They both sang along to the lyrics.
Every now and again their gaze would meet and the way Marco smiled at her with the softest smile. He knew that his feelings for her were wrong but he did not care. He only wished that she felt the same.
Suddenly, the car was rammed into and the car flipped on the side. Both of them a little dizzy, Marco rushed to get Ava out of the car. “Are you okay?” Marco said as he pulled her from the car “f**k you are bleeding!” he continued as he put her down on the ground, he noticed four werewolves by their side.
He could smell that they are not rogues. They were rather big, simply a beta and a delta and two other wolves by their side. They started to growl at them. Marco’s Alpha scent rolled off of him and the two werewolves backed up a little.
“Who are you and what the f**k do you want?” Marco asked, angrily, pushing Ava behind him, his muscular body covering her tiny one
The biggest wolf shifted into a young man, wearing nothing. Something that was normal with werewolves. He looked about 21. His sharp brown eyes met Marco’s alpha ones. A sharp wind blew through them, rustling the grass on the roadside. But neither of them noticed.
“We need her,” he said. Notching his head toward Ava
Marco raised an eyebrow. “Why do you need her?” he asked
“Leave her and be off!” the beta said.
“I am an Alpha. I don’t obey f*****g orders, and she belongs to my pack, so I will not leave her.” He growled, his voice deepening as he stepped forward towards them.
The man bowed his head, stepping back.
Marco growled again, ready to shift, but Ava positioned a hand on his arm and stepped out from behind him.
“Ava…” The man said with a concerned voice, making her frown. “It’s Domenico. You do still remember me, don’t you?” the man asked Ava.
Ava froze, her heart thumping in her chest. Domenico. There is only one Domenico she knew, and he should be a hundred miles away in her old pack. Marco looked at her sharply. He can hear her heart beating abnormally faster in her chest and the smell of fear rolled off of her. He positioned a hand instinctively around her waist, pulling her close, glaring at Domenico warningly.
Marco growled, feeling a robust sense of possessiveness at the way Domenico was looking at and speaking to her. “Ava, do you know this man?” Marco asked holding Ava close to his chest.
“He’s from my old pack,” Ava stated uneasily, very aware of each ridge of his body, her chest pressed into his. Marco looked shocked, but he did not understand why they would go this far for her.
“And you need to return to the pack and take your place beside me,” Domenico said, observing them calmly, realizing from what he ought to see, neither of them is marked but they have a spark between them. “I’m the new beta, the beta that will take his place by your -”
“f**k off! Before I rip your hearts out. Marco growled, his eyes flashing dangerously. Only Antonio knew her father was an Alpha before he got killed by her uncle, however, they had wanted it to be a secret, the fact that her uncle had traced them this far… intended he knew precisely the abilities she has and what she is capable of. She was the oldest child of the Alpha, and she does not have n brother, so she is next in line for Alpha, but she is much stronger than any werewolf, she is a hybrid.
Domenico frowned, signalling for the one wolf by his side to attack. Ava turned, geared up to fight, as a spasming ache ricocheted up her leg, but the wolves were aiming for Marco. He had shifted into a large grey wolf, his fur glossy, bigger than in his human form. He virtually stood over 5 ft in height on all fours, and he was larger than any alpha wolf Ava had seen before.
He lunged at the wolves before they can reach him, biting into one of their necks as he ripped it clean off the body. Blood splattered everywhere. The other wolf attacked Marco from behind and bit into his leg. Marco did not even flinch he turned around and slapped the wolf with his large paw through the air his nails digging into the stomach of the wolf. The wolf cried in pain as he hit the ground.
Upon seeing that this Alpha would not back down, the beta must have mind linked the other wolfs because they soon regarded
“There’s no f*****g way he’s getting Ava. If you try to attack or reach out to her once more I will take it as a personal threat to the pack. I am Marco De Luca of The White claw Pack the future Alpha and we fight for our pack.” He yelled after them warning them not to come back, his voice unsafe and deep. Domenico frowned and nodded, not even looking back at Ava they transformed into wolf form and ran off.
Marco took a deep breath, and that is when he realized he is standing but naked in front of her, when he turned around, he saw the blood on her leg.
Marco raised an eyebrow, admiring every inch of her body. She could feel him looking at her, when she looked him in the eyes, they felt the power of lust pulling on them both. He looked away and flipped the car on all four wheels and opened the boot to get some clothes.
“Thank you!” She said, wincing at the sting of ache in her leg when she took the towel from Marco
“Are you all right, Darling?” He asked so lovingly. “We would have to run home the car is damaged. I will send someone for it, will you be able to make it?” he asked walking over. He knew she was hiding something. He had not ignored how she had turned the man down, or the fear that rolled off her, but now was not the time to ask.
He crouched down. “It’ll heal, though it is relatively deep,” he said, about to touch it when she softly took his hand. Glaring at him regardless of the very faint blush on her cheeks. He raised an eyebrow, smirking at her embarrassment. Folding his fingers into hers, he held them in against the car still crouching down.
Her eyelids fluttered shut, her core aching with pleasure. As his tongue slowly ran up her hip, throughout her waist. Licking her wound, turned her on in so many ways. He stood up from her and pulled her arms over her head and leaned into a deep passionate kiss. They both knew it was wrong but neither of them pulled away at first.
Not lacking the hardened buds on her breast that he felt against his chest, which send blood speeding down south. Slowly shifting his gaze to her flushed face, just as their eyes met, Cerulean blue eyes met sage green. the scent of her arousal hit him like an intoxicating avalanche.
