Chapter 17: The Nightmare Continues

I tried to shake off the feeling of unease, telling myself it was just a dream. But as I lay back in bed, I couldn't shake the feeling that something was watching me. I closed my eyes, trying to calm my racing heart. But as soon as I did, I felt myself being pulled back into the nightmare. I was standing in a dark and deserted farmhouse, the only sound the creaking of the old wooden beams. Suddenly, I heard the roar of a chainsaw, and I knew I was in trouble. Leatherface, the iconic killer from The Texas Chain Saw m******e, emerged from the shadows, his face hidden behind a grotesque mask made of human skin. He was huge and imposing, his chainsaw revving menacingly as he began to stalk me. I tried to run, but my legs were frozen in place. Leatherface raised his chainsaw, ready to strike. I closed my eyes, waiting for the inevitable. But just as the chainsaw was about to make contact, I was jolted awake again. I was back in my bed, gasping for air. It was just a dream, I told myself again. But I knew I couldn't keep running from my nightmares. I had to face them head-on. I threw off the covers and got out of bed, determined to take control of my own destiny. But as I looked around my darkened room, I couldn't shake the feeling that I was being watched. And then, I heard the sound of a chainsaw, faint but unmistakable, coming from outside my window...
