I woke up to Rico softly carressing my hair. It was the most peaceful sleep I'd had in a while now. It felt like it was way past midnight. I hadn't realized I was that exhausted.
"And you wanted us to go for a run." he damn near growled with humor lacing his voice.
"Shut up." I muttered groggily shutting my eyes once more. Laughter vibrated in his chest. My heart felt so full I thought it would explode. I really must have reached the light at the end of my tunnel. Dare I hope that this was finally my big break? My heart constricted, I was too scared to even hope.
"I had Magdalena save some food for you. I had to go eat with the pack." He said softly still carressing my hair. As if on cue my stomach growled. He chuckled softly.
"I still really want that bath." I mumbled as I got up.
