True to Rico's words, the men were waiting outside, over ten of them. I didn't need this many! I thought appalled as I rolled my eyes.
"You, you and you are enough," I said as I chose three of the men who seemed to be the most obedient of the lot. "The rest of you stay," I said with finality in my voice and started walking towards the forest. I intended on moving in human form for most of the journey.
The three followed me diligently without uttering a word. Good. I needed to focus all my senses. As we got deeper into the forest I decided to try contacting Roesia once more.
