A Rough Escape

Sarah I had barely slept all night, anticipating how I was to escape. The skylight had been my original point of exit, but I doubt I could ground all the guards in this room. My ancestors were strong beings, but I was still part human, my power was only a fraction of theirs. It wasn’t like I had much training either. They would have to find a way to put me under again, so I had to be careful not to leave it too late. But I couldn’t do it too early either because, again, the guards.
