Revenge but Fated

Nadia POV The entire coven had gathered at the peak of the moon, dancing and singing across the fires of the night. The smile on the face of the queen showed that I would be fully welcomed as one of the witches to the pack. "Tonight, you have shown that you are not only a true witch, but could pose as a warrior as well." The Queen revealed, holding up the head of the witch hunter. "She didn't just bring any head to the coven, she brought to us, the head of a witch hunter. It shows how much bravery she posses and indeed you shall be inducted properly." The next few minutes were spent on rituals and eventually I felt a surge of energy running through my veins, after I had taken a potion given to me by the queen. "Welcome to the Coven Anabelle." The rest of the witches all screamed in joy. I could see the smile beaming through my mother's face as she watch the induction go on. Once the ceremony was over, I was left alone heading towards my home, after a hectic day. I dashed to the bedroom and fell on the bed, reminiscing over the event of the night. Several things had happened during the course of my encounter with the human. Aside seeing him in reality, I was curious to understand why he never killed me, but protected me from the witch hunters. What was his motive? Could he recognize me as well? Several of this question ran through my mind. I felt the door open and upon getting up from the bed, I realized it was mother. We hadn't spoken a word since my return and I knew she had noticed a change within me. "I am glad that you passed the test Ana." She revealed, sitting beside me on the bed. She grabbed my hands and made me look her in the eye. "I need you to be completely honest with me, how did you kill the witch hunter?" I had never lied to her before, she always had a way of seeing through my lies, thus I knew above all things she needed to know the truth. "I killed him." I stated facts to her, but it was obvious she wasn't satisfied with my statement by her demeanor. "Ana, I have been in your shoes. When I was eighteen, I killed a human by having to place a potion on his drink. It was the only way I could decapitate him. In your story to the queen, you killed him and decapitated him. A witch at eighteen is inexperienced and the humans could easily toil with you. So, I need you to be honest with me. How did you get to kill the witch hunter" It was logical to explain everything to her, but until I understand the reason why the human in my dream protected me, I was never going to explain it fully to her. "I received help. Apparently, the witch hunters were after a young boy, who I had thought would be my vicitim. They caught up with me in the process and attempted to shoot me. I didn't know how I did it, but I felt a surge of energy running through my veins and I was able to use the energy to kill them all." Her reaction showed that she believed me and I couldn't be more grateful. "I believe you are special Ana and I know the world waits you in achieving exploit." She placed a kiss on my head and walked out of the room. Getting out of the bed, I stared at the moon which was slowly weaning out as dawn was slowly approaching. Fate had a reason for bringing the human and myself together and I could only hope that at some point and some day, the truth would be fully out. I returned back to the bed to get a good sleep time, before the day would come. Morning was met with yelling, which had more up to my feet. I checked through the window and gasped seeing several witches gather around. I rushed out of the room and subsequently out of the house to the scene, where they all gathered. I noticed a familiar cloak filled with blood laying on the floor and I suddenly became numb. My world slowly crashing on me as the horrible sight of my mom being decapitated stared back at me. The pain was unbearable as the rest of the witches try to console me. Seeing her once bright face, become empty put within me a new emotion. I snatched the magical wand beside her and began walking away from the coven. "Ana, come back here! That is an order." The queen's order could not move me away from my new found determination; revenge. I didn't care in the world if the human would be innocent, I intended to kill anyone I would lay eyes on. After several hours, I arrived at the human world waiting for my first victim in the woods. .y dagger was hung at my left side, as I had vowed to not only incapacitate them, but also decapitate their head as well. My ears perked up at the sound of footsteps and I placed my wand, ready to incapacitate the first victim as he approached the woods. I checked through the branches and realized he was a hunter and this increased the new surge of anger within. Just when I could cast the spell on the wand, I noticed something familiar about the human. The familiar boots and eventually the familiar long silk hair flowing down his head; it was none other than the human from my dream and once again, fate has brought us together. I stepped on one of the branches and he picked in the sound, pulling his riffle out and aiming it at my direction, even though he couldn't see me. "Whoever you are, show your face right now!" His voice was deeper than I had imagined. Slowly, I pulled the branches away and walked out of the bush. "You." He stated with a confused look filling up his face.
