Alicia, The Dragon slayer

Planning phrase 1

Alicia POV

            Everything was set literally. My dad was right he did get everything planned out. Everything was in place and position. Though I don't agree with his plan of being a spy its my only shot to go to the main kingdom and prove to everyone we mean no harm and we are survivors. If anyone finds out I am sent here to soy I would die before I reach the king. Not like I'm actually going to spy on them. But still I talked to Nicakalaus about everything except the spying part and he agreed he was overjoyed to hear the fact that I'm finally coming to him.

                  Today was the day we all planned. We would leave by day when Everyone in the main kingdom just went to bed. The main kingdom unsurprisingly don't operate on our working hours. They sleep all day and stay up at night. Which seems normal to me because Vampire, werewolves and of course dragons have the same sleeping ways of going to bed at day break. So they obviously made everyone follow that law cause they are the two main species.

                 I talked to Nicklaus about it and he agreed to meet me at our spot in the forest and safely fly me to the kingdom. It was all set. After saying good bye to my mom who was crying. I promised her to take care of myself. I also promised to come meet dad at the forest 3 times in every fortnight and give him information. I can't go more often because it may look suspicious. It sucked I can't tell anyone I don't want to do this. I don't want to be a spy . I don't want to hurt Nicklaus or my family but I may end up hurting both.

                My dad walked me to the end of the outlands and wished me good bye and good luck. He made me promise not to act stupid and get caught. I felt bile rise up my throat as I told him goodbye and watched him walk back home. Well its not or never I guess. I won't mind if its the latter though.

                 I made my way through the forest all the while thinking about what will happen to me if I get caught. Nope I'm not scared of them but they can decide to just kill every human in the outland of they find out about our attack. I finally found Nicklaus waiting for me in his dragon form. His dragon was beautiful honestly. Almost completely pitch black. I figured out dragons love to be in their dragon form way more than being human but he has been in his human firm to talk to me so I won't feel uncomfortable. Thats so cute.

                   Immediately he saw me he perked up. I skipped towards him and climbed on his back. He seemed happy enough to see me. He waited until I was secure then he fast walked down a clear part and after about 2 flaps of his massive wings we were high up in the sky. I loved this . If a month ago someone told me I would be on a dragons back and love it I would stab the persons neck. Now I'm 60 ft above the ground and I love it.

          We flew over the forest, grass lands and then the huge main kingdom. The lights were enough for me love the whole look. The streets were empty I guess my theory of their sleeping pattern is correct. We kept flying not stop until I saw a huge glass like building. It looked like an extremely big mansion. He landed at the entrance.

          Two guards were guarding the door. At the sight of me they both snarled at me one stepped forward probably ready to tear me apart until-

        "Stand down, she's with me" He said

          The guards exchanged a puzzled look before bowing and stepping aside. Still muttering and glaring at me. 

            The mansion/castle house is so huge. Big enough for him to get in here without having to change human. He could get in here easily as a dragon. We walked passing no one till we finally got to his room. In a second he changed back to normal. 

       " So what do you think"  he asked

       "Its beautiful . I love it so much" I answered.

       "I would give you a proper tour tomorrow" He said closing his curtains. "Right now I'm just so Hally your here I have been waiting for this day since I met you love. I just want you to know I won't let anyone touch you. They won't hurt you. Tomorrow we will meet my father and if he removes me from royalty I don't give a s**t" He finished .

            I almost blushed at this. But that promise is a whole lot easier said than done. I can protect myself too though but not from everyone. Not just the king but his people too. And not to mention the fact I don't have such an amazing record over here. Everyone thinks I go around killing dragons for fun. Which is dumb cause they normally attack me first. Only when I'm attacked first that's when I defend my self. But they have done more harm than good.

            "Your so beautiful today. Well you are everyday love. You are mine my angel. All mine" He growled holding me.

          I felt safe and warm in his embrance.
