Selene's POV
“Alpha Dimitri!” I shouted suddenly.
“What? Did I hit a nerve?” he sneered as he looked at Caz. Then, he took a deep breath, his expression changing immediately.
“Goodness, you are even just an omega.” His laugh turned cold, filled with hate. “Pathetic. No wonder you stand by her side. She is so desperate now she would even rely on an omega. Look at her, fallen so low that she hides behind scraps.”
Damn, I wanted to claw his throat open, but I forced myself still. If I lashed out now, I would waste the chance to gather the proof I needed against him. The evidence of his bribery was so close, and I couldn't risk losing it over his insults.
