Jasmine's POV The city enforcers arrived within twenty minutes of my call, two broad-shouldered men with badges clipped to their belts and expressions that suggested they'd rather be anywhere else. They walked through the apartment with perfunctory interest, noting the disturbed cushions, the open drawers, the general chaos left behind. "Anything missing?"
