"I'm telling you, the man's a complete nightmare." Lara stabbed her fork into her salad with unnecessary violence. "He actually yelled at me today because I filed the Wilson case under 'pending' instead of 'active review.' Like there's even a difference."
I looked up from my phone, where Christopher's confirmation email sat gleaming with promise. "Sounds delightful."
