King Nixon answered the door and when he opened it, he met the Nezmaian girl, Anna. Her hand was stretched to the door about to knock on it. Though she humbly curtsied to him, Nixon couldn’t help but read words in her expression like she was saying things to him.
“I am here for My Lady,” she said, her gaze traveling past him to Queen Neticia behind. Nixon followed her gaze and he looked at Neticia.
“Anna is waiting for you,” Nixon said to his wife. He watched his wife come forward to the door.
“I was at the carriage, I didn’t see you in it and so I figured you may still be here,” the imposter said, a wide smile baring her teeth.
