Queen Neticia entered the tea house narrowing her gaze as she sensed foul play. She turned to the maid. “Leave us.”
The maid curtsied again and she left.
“Do you care for a tea, My Lady?” the imposter repeated, a fake smile still playing on her lips. From the corner of her eyes, Kasha scanned the environment and she saw that the patrols now had eyes on them… she sighed and returned her attention to the woman before her.
Queen Neticia settled down in a close-by chair. “How are you?” she asked.
“Oh, I am good,” the imposter laughed but Queen Neticia was unsmiling and so the laughter ceased. “And you, My Lady?”
