Bourbon & BBQ

Mike grabbed a towel and wrapped it around his hips. It barely covered him but he headed to the door anyway. He peaked out the window to see Lyela. 'What is she doing here?' He thought. He adjusted his towel straightened his beard and opened the door. "Whats up? Is something wrong?" "No I just didn't want to go home, my house is so quiet sometimes." She held up a couple red box movies and a bottle of bourbon. "Wanna have a movie night?" Mike nodded and opened the door for her to step in, revealing his state of n**edness. She stepped in and closed the door. Mike walked to the bathroom and grabbed his wallet, handing it to Lyela as she started setting up the DVD. "Theres a Bar-B-Q place just down the road, they deliver. Use my card and order us some food. Ill eat anything all their food is good." She took his wallet as he walked into his bedroom to get dressed. He left the door open angled perfectly so that Lyela could just see him drop his towel. She begrudgingly looked away and pulled her phone out to order their dinner. Mike walked back out in a clean white t shirt and grey sweatpants. 'Why does he have to dress like THAT?' Mike nonchalantly walked into the kitchen and grabbed 2 glasses with ice and two colas from the fridge. He made himself comfortable next to her. She poured them both a stiff drink and the movie started, they watched in silence until their food arrived. Mike handled the delivery at the door and sat back down. They both tucked in and ate as the movie played. They finished eating and Mike poured them each another drink. When the movie ended they debated watching the second. It was getting late. "My house is closer to the shop, and we could polish off this bottle if you just crash here. You can even take the bed. Ill sleep on the couch." Mike offered. "Oh what the hell. I might as well." Lyela said glancing out into the rainy night. They started the next movie and settled in. A short time later Mike was pouring them each another drink. The bottle Lyela had brought was only half gone now, he didn't really think they'd finish it, but it sounded good. He was feeling warm and fuzzy and relaxed. They had dried closer on the couch as the night went on. He wasn't sure if it was the bourbon or little Mike doing the thinking at that point but he didn't care. He had made his mind up and he slid his arm around her. She felt so tiny in his arms. He froze waiting for her protest or for her to just slap him.
