Aria spent the entire evening trying to forget the stranger she had met earlier.
She told herself it was just a simple accident. A moment that would disappear like every other random encounter in a crowded city. But no matter how hard she tried, she couldn’t forget the way he looked at her—the confidence in his eyes, the mystery surrounding him, and the strange feeling she had when he held her arm to stop her from falling.
She didn’t know his name. She didn’t know his story. She only knew that there was something different about him.
The next morning, Aria walked into the café where she worked, expecting another normal day. But the conversations around her quickly caught her attention.
“Did you hear about Damien Voss?” one customer whispered.
Aria paused when she heard the name.
“He’s the owner of Voss Enterprises. One of the richest men in the city,” another person replied. “But people say he’s not someone you want to cross.”
Curiosity filled her mind. She quietly searched his name on her phone and stared at the results.
Damien Voss.
A billionaire businessman. A man known for his intelligence, power, and cold personality. Newspapers described him as untouchable. Rumors followed him everywhere, but no one truly knew what happened behind the walls of his empire.
Aria’s heart skipped when she saw his picture.
It was him.
The stranger from yesterday.
She suddenly realized that the man she had spoken to without fear was someone the entire city treated with caution.
Before she could process it, a black luxury car stopped outside the café.
Damien Voss stepped out.
