Kade's POV

'At least he isn't with her this time, I can't seem to bear it whenever this Raven is with my Layra. I really need to get him out of here and that is what this meeting is for.

I am so damn tired of this Raven hanging out with layra all day.'

"Alpha Raven how nice of you to join us, welcome"

Kade said in an unpleasant way, even Jacob knew this was kind of a set up.

But what could they be thinking about by summoning them for the meeting this morning instead of noon like it was earlier planned?

'I need to keep my head clear so that no harm comes to my Luna or Alpha. Else the whole crimson pack will have to deal with the most cruel beta of all time. I am not called the most dreadest Beta for nothing' Jacob thought

But his thought was disrupted, by Raven's through mind link

" Relax Jacob, your Alpha is still here. They can't hurt me even if they try, just keep an eye out for Layra.they could be planning something for her since they want her for themselves as well"

"Okay, I will" Jacob replied through their mind link

"So kade stone why did you reschedule the time for this meeting? It was supposed to be noon and not morning everyone has plans, you know? Since we are already here let's get on with it"

Former Alpha Sylvester stone stood up and said,

"Our pack the Crimson moon pack and your pack Gray wolf pack, signed a treaty years ago and in turn it has indeed brought out something other pack members do not have. It has brought years of prosperity and this made the two packs to become Allies. This treaty signed,

Has made us been in peace for years during your father's rule and since your father and I have both handed the Alpha title to our sons to rule in our stead.

We, or rather from the crimson moon pack would like to extend this peace treaty between the next generation rulers which involves you Alpha Raven Sadler and my son here Alpha Kade Stone. So that this treaty goes a long way, that is all. So here is the treaty Do you accept?"

"First of all, you speak up for your useless son, when he is seated right there by your side. Very preposterous and a lame move from your end, Sylvester Stone. You are only grooming him to always depend on you and in a way you will still stylishly rule from the side, and still be the Alpha. Kade will be nothing but a puppet Alpha, Shame" Raven said in disdain, to think that he will sign that they must have lost it all.

"How dare you speak like that, when am still here? I can stand up and speak for myself you know, but as a leader rather than speak my subjects do that for me."

"Haha, really? Well I hope to see that for once in your life you speak up without cowering behind your useless father of a man." Raven said and stood up to leave.

"Where do you think you are going to? You are yet to sign the treaty, Raven Sadler" Kade stood up in an outrage wanting to prove he wasn't as weak as Raven presumed him to be.

"Hahaha Well well well, who would have thought? To answer your question, I have something of great importance to do with my mate. If you had one you wouldn't be holding a meeting so early now, would you? Secondly, how stupid do you think I am to sign a peace treaty with the family of those who massacared everyone in the Sylver howl pack. The same pack my beloved mate is from? Very uncanny on your behalf to think that"

Raven roared in anger.

"This isn't why you are here, Alpha Raven. You were sent here to sign this treaty" an Elder said

"Even low lives talk to their superiors now? Anyways while I am being reasonable and calm the best way I know how. Listen and listen good, My father signed a treaty with you at the time without knowing you had murdered his friends. And he has lived with the guilt everyday, and now that the treaty is no longer valid, why renew it with murderers like yourselves? And thus angering my Luna, in this way? This would mean we are enemies, think again. Not signing the treaty would mean war for us all is that what you want? You want war between the two packs? You should think again Alpha Raven, war is expensive. And if you reject this it would mean war for all of us"

Sylvester Stone said.

"Hmm now that I actually thought about it, you may have a point. Maybe I might have been too forward about my decisions. But if its war then we war" Raven said and left while Jacob followed immediately.

"Why is he being so stubborn? I will not give up on this, because truth be told, if we went to war we would fail woefully" former Alpha Stone said
