Kade's POV

This is all my parents fault and my useless elder sister's irrelevant intervention. She never does things nicely only naively, her silly crush on that i***t of a man has finally clouded her judgement and to crown it all up it only made things worse when he is mated with Layra of all people.

Why would Layra want anything to do with my pack? Let alone accept me, why I am living with these crazy people? Why on earth will she even agree to stay with these useless people I call family.

I don't know what I did to deserve a worthless banshee for an elder sister. She tends to spoil everything. No one wants to get married to her, she is supposed to be with her mate now. But no one finds her f*****g attractive.

Speaking of that, there is someone that would do anything for her. I better contact him and find out what he knows about the Saddlers.

*Ring Ring*

"Hey buddy"

"Hey, its been ages you contacted what's happening?"

"Actually a lot has happened, its about your family this time, Raven to be precise"

"Well what about him? I know you never liked him for one second"

"Well he f*****g took my fated mate for himself. He f*****g did"

"I still don't get it, how does he get to claim someone else's mate?"

"Its a long story"

"I have time"

"Fine few days ago, I was named an Alpha"

"Right, congratulations on your coronation party as an Alpha dude"

"Just listen okay?"

"So as I was saying, the maid we had, you know the one taken captive from the silver howl pack eight years ago?"

"Yeah the one you all detest, that little one. So what about her?"

"She turned out to be my fated mate, and without thinking I rejected her because of her low status so as not to lose face. And she gracefully and happily accepted my rejection, after she did that your useless Alpha came over and that was how they became mates. I mean I hardly rejected her and just then your Alpha comes to claim her? That's what pisses me off. It so f*****g pisses me off"

"So why are you mad at that fact? She is a low life and a slave. Aren't you supposed to be happy you got rid of her?"

"That's another factor, she isn't a nameless slave, neither is she a f*****g low life. She has an alpha blood in her"

"I don't follow, alpha blood that girl?"

"Yes I am being serious right now."

"So how did you come up with that fact and conclusion?"

"Because when I rejected her thinking she was of low origin, she accepted gladly and while she was accepting my rejection she called her full name. And her name is " Layra crest, daughter to Alpha Matthew whom my useless family wiped out in their greed for power eight years ago. And now she is eighteen her wolf self has manifested, and that is how she was able to discover another mate so quickly and it turned out to be Raven that scumbag. If it were someone else perhaps I won't be so hurt, but this? I just can't accept her going to Raven just like that. So I must get her."

"So how do I come or fit into all of this?"

"You are an important part of making sure, I know every tiny details and you will be my eyes and ears from the inside. And also you will do everything you can to stop them from spending too much time together."

"Hmm Kade, I am not sure I follow how on earth do you expect me to do that? I will become overly suspicious you see."

"Well if you want a chance with my sister, you got to at least try"

"Oh f**k, for heavens sake Kade. Why must you bring her into this issue? You know I love her and would do anything to make her smile, if only she will just look my way. But this will be too much to push through successfully without getting f*****g caught"

"Well it depends just how much you want Darla on your laps. And that can only be possible if you do this successfully Buddy"

"I will be your eyes and ears for Darla, if only you can put in a nice word for me so that she calls me at least. She isn't answering me as it is."

"Don't worry when you give me a little something, then Darla is all yours"

"That's my Pal Kade. Just want to say congratulations on your coronation as an Alpha. Would have been in attendance but you know how it is, since Raven was in attendance I couldn't come over else there would have been loopholes. And there would be little suspicions here and there"

"But of course you and I are to become in-laws soon. So make it happen quickly please put in a good word for me to Darla, I so much love her like since forever"

"I get it dude, I will talk to her. She is my elder sister and acts crazy sometimes I know but I don't just get it. Why are you so in love with her. She is a banshee, and they can be really tough. Why don't you look for a girl beautiful and simple to handle?"

"Oh Kade you wouldn't understand the power of love, whenever I see her I feel drawn to her. I feel like I can't let her go, I feel....."

"Oh shut it, its fine you do what you wish to do when you have her don't tell me those f*****g details"

"Haha, I won't"

Now I can be rest assured that I will be given information about their whereabouts as soon as they get there. I must get you back, Layra. I must have you, if I can't no one else can.

As for Raven, I will surely punch that smirk he had earlier from his f*****g face.

What was that he said? I am a f*****g puppet? I will surely deal with you Raven Sadler and since we are now sworn enemies there is nothing holding me back from attacking your entire pack and burning everything and everyone to the ground. I must make her mine, Layra is mine.

Then he went to bed, with a somewhat calm heart.
