Silent screams

Nightmare

*my bare feet hit the black pavement I ran fast. I didn't look back. I was scared to stop to look back. My lungs were screaming. My legs tired. I don't know how long I was running but, I found familiar road sign. I can't believe I was so close to home. I ran to my door and took the spare key. I ran inside. I tried to talk. "Mom" there was tears in my eyes. I was so sore. I didn't hear my voice. He took it. I cried. Then the house phone rang I picked up and I heard "you can't escape me hope you made a big mistake" laughter and he laughed and wouldnt stop laughing. It echoed in my ears. I wanted to tell him no but, I couldn't and he just added"if you talk I will hurt Katie... Everyone hope" then he hung up. I saw myself walking up the stairs and I got a rope I walked to the bathroom. Tied it and I looped it around my neck.  Mom came in and I saw him with mask he was behind mom and I couldn't warn her. I screamed and he smiled as he cut her throat. He came closer and smiled as I saw scars on his face where I scratch him and he came closer he grabbed me "no one can hear you" he reached out and plucked my eyes out and I try to scream I scream and he says "that's beautiful sound isn't it.... Silence" he laughs " now you can't see hope. You can never escape me Hope." I reach out with my hands and I hear laughter. "hope!!!" I hear Katie scream. "Hope!" He found Katie. 

"Dammit hope!" I felt someone shaking me. I open my eyes and it is Katie. "f*****g Jesus Hope!" She huffed. "You had a nightmare again" she looked worried. "You were tossing and turning and " she chuckled "you kicked a hole in the wall but, you were saying something like no no no oh God Hope" she sobbed hugging me. "I thought they took you again" "I'm okay I'm here" I smiled and hug her back.
