Chapter Sixty two: where did he come from?
I was able to make it back to the house in no time with Rover's help. Despite me declining the drive back and insisting I could make it on my own, the apparent gentleman he was could not let him watch me leave on my own.
Molly had gotten so comfortable and trusting that she actually stayed behind and waited for me to get dropped off.
It made a lot of sense for me to discourage her from remaining behind, which I did, very clearly, but she was not taking any advice tonight. Whatever potion Rover fed her was working brilliantly because she was not even considering the consequences of her absence.
