As soon as the rest of the four of the largely built men walked into the house, my heart began to beat exceedingly fast. My eyes were darting to my sides to search for a quick, everyday household object that I could turn into a weapon against the five beasts but I came back with nothing at each turn.
As frustrating as the lack of anything useful in combat was, I could be bothered less knowing it would take no weapon to take down the beasts in front of me.
